They are still young so won't see the difference between a little celebration and a full blown one, so do a little at a time. I think you'll find whatever way you do it they'll remember it as a bit of fun, after all that's all it is.

Halloween
by cognac ini want to celebrate it this year for the first time with my two daughters.
they are 4 and 2 years old.. i am afraid to tell my husband though.
i also don't think it's fair that i feel the need to hide it.. i'm pretty open about how i feel on most things, but i know he feels strongly about demons being involved in the holiday.. what do you think is the best way of handling this?.

Have any of you ex elders ever seeked out those you previously disfellowshipped?
by EndofMysteries ini was curious if any of you who were part of judicial committees and disfellowshipped any ever after learning ttatt tried to look up those who were dfed and never returned, etc, or who are still dfed.

I was on lots of JCs, only disfellowshipped once, he was a muppet and everyone would have wondered why his new wife and he had a bouncing baby after only being married 6 months. He was back in after about 8 months.

minding my own business while pumping gas - this 60 year old short jw lady with fluffed bun styled 60's hair and her 30 year old attractive 5 ' 10 inch jw lady partner came straight up to me as i'm pumping.

An Elder Reads CoC !!

i started discovering the ttatt (the truth about the truth) last year after putting a few things together myself concerning the leadership and then doing some research online.. i really enjoyed jwfacts.com, jwsurvey, and others.

Welcome here, tread carefully if you want to keep things safe. Meantime make sure you use the scriptures in elders meetings and with the congregation, apply them correctly, not burdening with rules and policies.
