  Your earliest doubt?

  this might be an unfair question for those who have been out of the organization for decades, but i'm wondering if any of you remember your earliest doubt -- maybe something odd that occurred to you as a kid (if you were a jw then).

  please try to limit to two doubts at the most :-).

  i think my first "doubt" was simply realizing that at the time of the flood, every animal that wasn't in the ark died (well, besides the fish, supposedly).

  Welcome back, Mr flipper is still active here. I completed my fade a little over a year ago, though haven't moved town but manage to avoid JWs despite wife still being 'in'. She's a born in but not what I would call orthodox.

  Fear

  i have a question for people who have left the dubs.. do you now feel fearful?

  growing up as jw they taught me that having fear of god or my parents was a good thing, that there is a good type of fear that stops you from doing something that up set the people you love.

  i had a conversation with someone and it made me think.

  The only times I'm affected by fear is at the times I am very low, and dare I say, suicidal. At that point the fear of my kids growing up without me kicks in, and I know I have to do something to change my dark thoughts.

  I have no fear of displeasing a deity that has no interest in what's going on in this part of the universe.

  Pedophile out of court settlements

  i was listening to the candace conti interview on youtube and they mentioned out of court settlements the society has made to pedophile victims using funds donated for the world wide work.. does anyone know of a list showing how many cases there has been and who the society settled out of court with ?

  is that kind of thing something you can find on record somewhere ?.

  Middle School Incident today

  my middle schooler came home to tell me that the police officer assigned to the school arrested a 6th grade girl.

  the rumors (from those who knew her and were in the bathroom with her) were that she was cutting herself and said that her family didn't love her.

  she had drugs and birth control.

  Poor girl, how sad. It's not a reflection on the girl, more her situation. I'm sure it can become addictive, but I agree she is likely to need help. I'd imagine the police were involved because of her reason for self harming, not for the self harming itself.

  I'm getting a share of a oil tycoons money who recently passed away, his widow has identified me as trustworthy to move his money to my country. I can only assume I have been identified as being a chosen one online by her. LOL

  i don't know how many times i have heard that lie from the platform.

  i have heard that line of rubbish at big and great boasting sessions as well.

  the witlesses act as if they get as many toys as worldly people, just scattered throughout the year.. now, i have seen many cases where that simply isn't true.

  I spent all afternoon wrapping my kids presents, they both have their birthdays December/January, so they do get presents all year as it's too long to wait. Having said all that, my still in JW land wife didn't want the kids left out, she insisted on getting presents for them at New Years before I faded so they didn't feel left out. I wonder how many other families do the same?

  Sparlock Child's Toy Makes Jehovah Sad!

  well according to the governing body aka> jehovah's spokesman for the entire earthly population, a toy such as sparlock that is in the posession of small children who's parents are jws makes jehovah "sad".. well if that is true then jehovah needs to see a psychiatist for depression caused by unreasonableness and phobias.

  if this little child toy makes him sad, and prone to wrath and murder, as biblical accounts show him wipeing out vast portions of the human and animal populations when his sadness hits major proportions, he also needs to take some anger management courses to get a handle on his sanity and riegn in his jealousy which seems destructive and out of control at times.. it is no idle speculation that if jehovah finds sparlock offensive and makes him depressed, he's got some serious mental issues, but realistically this sadness is all a projection of the governing body and shows them to have the issues that they are projecting on a imaginary figure whom they call jehovah.

  in other words the currant governing body are a bunch of mentally sick bastards in a delusional state of mind..
