"New light" and BLOOD ...

i just had a flash in my head.. in the wt 07/2013, the "new light" is basically saying that there was no appointment of a faithful and discrete slave in the christian era until 1919. if this is true, then no "spiritual food at the proper time" was served after jesus' resurrection, for over 1886 years.

that means that the decree of the "apostles and older men" in jerusalem, recorded in acts 15:24-29, isn't "food at the proper time", and shouldn't be mandatory for christians.

this includes the order to "abstain from blood".

Also, the WHEAT matured without any FDS through the centuries, as it was/will be fully mature for reaping (not to an earthly org but heaven) when he arrives.

Thanks for sharing JWleaks. One has to admire such conviction to serve God in the face of death and to empathize with the immediate family. Another sad storey indeed that former JW's like myself frown and get angry at the GB to continue to dictate this doctrine that at best should be one of conscientious decision and at worse is used by the GB to promote their dangerous cult that give them free advertisement in the media like this.

As said before, if blood is respected because it symbolizes life when does the symbolize become greater than the reality of life itself, shame on you GB, and elders that actively enable this unnessary loss of life.

another poster on here called separation of powers made a profound comment on another thread recently that i thought was worthy of starting a new thread about:.

"in my opinion, the new light regarding the fds addresses this question, if there was no fds from the 3rd century on until 1918, and yet the article states that there were anointed followers here and there during that almost 2000 years of no fds, then what organization did they follow?

Yadda Yadda2 **** I think the logic here is indisputable and compelling. One can be of the 'anointed' and approved by God regardless of what religious organisation you belong to at any given time in history... Agree/disagree/unsure****

Agree, Jesus himself said the wheat and weeds would grow TOGETHER during this period of grace, notice the wheat were/will be already FULLY MATURE when the separation occurs, no need for "noo lite".

Fleshly Christians need fleshly bricks and mortar, churches, organisations, earthly Jerusalem types, spiritual Christians need the Jerusalem above, fellowship, sharing spiritual gifts in a spirit filled life.

A humble recognition that the org. Is just another denomination that need to repent of false prophesy and damaging the flock of God.

Restoring Christ To his rightful place as Lord off ALL and only head, and only in Him is the Life we need to live a righteous life.

DataDog, Sorry I can't help, I have not read a KM in years. However, when we see TTATT, we can see how the org manipulates scripture away from Christ to themselves. Take for example " keep testing whether you are in the faith," they will never tell you the primary way that we are in the "Faith" which is -
