  Just a suggestion but maybe post things like this in members only since the Google can find it otherwise, which means so can NY/HQ without even logging in.

  How bout the scene of the inside of a car, from the POV of the drivers vision. You would see maybe just top half of the steering wheel and the rear view mirror. Palm trees in front of the car on the side of the road (going to paradise baby!) and in the rear view mirror, a jw,org logo in the distance

  Maybe a broken chain hanging off the rear of the car in the side-view mirror

  Might need a fair bit of skin real estate to be intelligible

  Perry, I agree with your assessment of 70ce. Even was a preterist for a while but then I kept reading the bible more..

  Paul was mentioned by the others but which Paul? We have to admit that we can't say for sure that is the same Paul. Even if he's the only Paul in the bible, the bible is supposed to be taking place in the real world, one that had many Pauls. If it were to be taken as a fairly tale book, then we can limit all references to characters who have been on-stage do to speak, and assume there are no outside characters.

  If Paul was indeed an apostle, would that make him #13? Since Judas' slot was reassigned, the 12 was filled. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

  Can you address my last paragraph of my last comment (about the gospels) ?

  news in general are supposed to be unbiased.

  but given how commercial and political interests get their tentacles around them, finding a fully unbiased news website is not so easy.. here in america some would rather trust bbc or reuters than they do cnn or fox news.

  I agree with broke back and its not just for trump. There's alot of fake news and has been for quite a long time. Anyone can search on YouTube for the fake CNN Gulf War segment... Crazy stuff. And that was back then..

  They're all the same to me though. Taking 'em at face value will cause you to be misled but there's really no way for you get to the bottom of every single story. Either accept that you are being lied to every day and about major events and move on, or pretend like that's not true and... move on.

  Or use your uber-wealth and resources to investigate every story until you have covered all the bases and get to the absolute bottom of things.. If you don't get killed first.

  according to the bible teach book on page 78, it says, “since the days of the apostles, god has been selecting faithful christians in order to complete the number 144,000”.

  Actually the 144,000 is numerological significant: 1 + 4 + 4 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 9

  The square root of 9 is 3

  So the real number of heavenly dwellers is actually 3.

  they have the same mannerisms, try to use the same style of speaking, similar jokes, etc.

  Indeed, has anyone else noticed the strange robotic bounce? Its almost dramatic, if only it weren't funny to see. I don't see that one alot but enough to the very same things as the OP - or maybe that's exactly what he's referring to?

  Most often, the regular weekend speakers just seem like regular nervous guys. Its at the assembled and conventions that it gets interesting.

  Jayk - I'm a horrible person! Oh the humanity! 'why oh why can't he just go along with it like everyone else?' they say. I question everything and prove to myself as much as possible. multiple sets of victims' parents winning the state lottery multiple times and living on the same street is a bit incredulous. The Facebook memorial pages for some victims which were created before the event. I'll stop there for the sake of those who can't handle the depth of the rabbit hole.

  Pete za hut, some places have even banned spray paint! Can't get it at all. Bullets would be considered part of the bearing arms. I'm all for banning arms though... Take em away from everyone - police, military, citizens - worldwide. The point of bearing arms was that there would be no power imbalance. Obviously there is currently a major power imbalance.

  Blow away, wow, I'm going to guess that was somewhere in the south (USA) maybe Texas? I don't know how long ago that was but I went to school before all this school shooting stuff started but we didn't do anything like what you said, in fact they were just starting to have metal detectors (mainly for other weapons-big city, north USA)

  No worries though, I'm sure big J will killemall at the big A. Then - 7 billion corpses of paradise - ahhhhh.

  Suicide note from pedophile elder's victim..

  years ago at the kh my aunt attended, there was an elder from a prominent jw family who was accused of sexual conduct with several young men in the hall.

  he was an unmarried guy in his 30's who wore a terrible hair piece/toupee.

  his sister once told me he was waiting for the new system to marry so he could have a perfect wife--isn't that funny?.

  Is he allowed to do field circus? Why did noone call the police instead of getting the guy DFd? forget that, police first then stay mum when eldumbs start asking questions and refer them to the attorney representing you.
