  there is a lot of exjws who have been out 10-20-30-50 years, but for some reason, when they see a group of jehovah's witnesses, sitting by their carts, drinking coffee, scrolling through phones, laughing, something inside happens.

  most can't explain it.

  some say it makes their blood boil.

  What I came to see is that not everybody is equally damaged by the Witness religion. Some JWs have a nice life there and couldn’t relate to any of this

  That’s what makes this a difficult subject for EXJWs to come to a consensus on this subject. I’ve seen this debate on Reddit where thousands joined in the debate, only to be split almost 50/50.

  It’s not a new problem. Even thousands of years ago, the ignorant goat headers who wrote some of the bible stories seem to have started the debate with their leanings toward the idea that Ignorance is not an excuse.

  Leviticus 5:17 “If you sin and break any of the commands that the Lord said must not be done, you are guilty. Even if you did not know about it, you are still responsible for your sin.

  This idea was carried on through the dark ages.

  As human thinking continued to evolve, the viewpoint started slanting the other way.

  During the Enlightenment and in the 18th century, given the heavy proportion of illiterate citizens in European countries (who would have some difficulties being aware of all the laws in a country) this was a problem. It was then argued that both the presumed knowledge and the heavily increasing corpus of national legislation were working in favour of lawyers rather than citizens. Thus an excuse for wrongdoing came into play.

  As time went on, humans started using this excuse to commit atrocities to others humans and getting away with it. In one of my College classes, the professor asked us to write a paper on one way we could get away with Murder, based on a TV series named, “How to get away with murder”

  And as you probably know, during the Nuremberg trials, many former SS Nazi soldiers were indicted for war crimes against humanity. The most popular excuse these Nazi soldiers used, was “I was just following Orders” or I was indoctrinated.

  In modern times the general rule is that ignorance of the law is not a valid defense.

  There are some jurisdictions, where there are exceptions to the general rule, but to prove that, a person has to be very wealthy to hire the best lawyers, and in some cases, pay off the judge, and perhaps the jury.

  This is what happens when you have some 8 Billion plus, humans screaming different religious views, and chanting different political ideologies, and hundreds of races and genders.

  Exactly! My previous post is a real life story. I actually know an old timer who told me his story of when he met the love of his life. Married her when he was 21 and she was 18. They had two kids. Both were JWs. One day she was in an auto accident and needed a blood transfusion. The elders and congregation were at the hospital encouraging the young man to not allow the doctors to give her a blood transfusion.

  The man was at a crossroads. The doctors assured him they could save her if he just allowed them to give her a blood transfusion. All the elders and many of the congregation members Told him stay Strong and please Jehovah. He listened to the elders and the JW members. His wife died.

  His is an old guy now with no friends. He allowed the life of his life to be murdered by the elders and many of the members. He didn't get to enjoy his life with his only soul mate. He never remarried and lost his only two kids.

  He will Never forgive any Jehovah Witness, whether they were indoctrinated or not. He will never feel pity for them. And I don't blame him.

  The bible makes it clear, Jehovah is a God that Loves the spilling of blood. It pleases Him when blood is shed. Whether it’s animal or Human, it does not matter. As long as the creature suffers tremendously.

  CEV GENESIS 8:20 Noah built an altar where he could offer sacrifices to the Lord. Then he offered on the altar one of each kind of animal and bird that could be used for a sacrifice.

  Genesis 8: 21 THE SMELL OF THE BURNING OFFERING PLEASED THE LORD.

  Genesis ERV 8:21 THE LORD SMELLED THE SACRIFICES, AND IT PLEASED HIM.

  Jehovah revealed to humans that the torturing of defenseless Creatures, and inflicting suffering on them, PLEASES HIM.

  For example;

  King Solomon offered a significant number of sacrifices upon finishing the Temple, specifically

  22,000 cattle

  120,000 sheep and goats,

  These offerings were part of the dedication of the Temple to God.

  as recorded in 2 Chronicles 7:5 and 1 Kings 8:63

  If you built a house, for you and your family to live in, would you require the sacrifice of 22,000 puppies? What kind of a person would you assume a human to be, if he required the sacrifice of so many puppies just because a Home was built?

  Even Jehovah’s beloved son was not immune to Jehovah's lust for seeing ALL his creatures suffer by seeing their blood spill

  The bible makes it clear, that it was Jehovah’s will to crush Him and cause Him to suffer, indicating that God found pleasure in the suffering of the servant as part of a divine plan.

  Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth.

  Hell, if you need to forgive someone, JUST FORGIVE THEM! There’s no need to desire a blood feast.

  Maybe there's a subtle reason why Jehovah likes animal sacrifices. And maybe there's a difficult to detect reason why Abel sacrificed an animal instead of offering grain as a sacrifice to Jehovah.

  Abel is the good guy right. He pleases Jehovah because he is good. But he likes to kill animals. You know, like a serial killer finds out early in life, how sweet it is to strangle a baby kitten to death, or chop the head of a puppy.

  How long had Abel been killing animals? Did he start with the small animals first like birds, baby wolves, etc.? And he must of killed of lot of animals because he got so good at cutting them to pieces that he knew which part was what, like a butcher, and used this knowledge to offer the best pieces in a sacrifice to Jehovah.

  So what does Abel eventually do? He gets some domestic animal that won’t fight back, like a sheep and kills it. Cuts it in pieces, blood everywhere, and offers it up to Jehovah.

  And what does Jehovah do? Jehovah is thrilled and loves it. Abel becomes his favorite.

  Cain on the other hand loves life and loves animals and never even considered killing an animal just for the pleasure of it. And Cain never imagined that Jehovah is a God that loves people that kills animals just for the heck of it. So Cain instead learns to cultivate the land and plant veggies and grain to sustain himself, his parents and brother.

  Remember Jehovah didn’t give them permission to eat meat till After the Flood. So Able didn’t eat the meat, He just Killed the animals BECAUSE HE LIKE IT!

  So if this was the case, Where was Abel killing all the animals? What was his first kill? How long did he practice killing animals?

  And so when the two brothers each offered a sacrificed to Jehovah, Abel a murdered animal, and Cain the fruitage of the land. Jehovah accepted Abel’s sacrifice because he liked the smell of burning flesh, but rejected Cain’s offering.

  So looking at it from this angle, you can see why Cain was pissed off. Jehovah loved the killing of living creatures but hated a peace loving man that hated taking any creature’s life.

  So what does Cain do, He kills Abel because Jehovah is kind of telling him that He likes sacrifices of Creature’s Lives Abel is a creature right?

  Maybe that’s why Jehovah didn’t protect Abel from being murdered. Jehovah knew that Abel was trouble, and was on the wrong path killing animals. It wouldn’t be long before Abel started killing humans.

  But Jehovah did protect Cain from anyone Killing him, Made a sign for Cain to warn everyone; “You better not touch Cain or I will Kill You.

  It seems like Jehovah knew Cain did him a favor by getting rid of Abel before he started killing his parents and everyone else he could get his hands on.

  I now look at rank and file witnesses as victims and I feel pity for them

  Easier said than done.

  What if they convinced you to not allow a blood transfusion to your young wife who was in an auto accident, and as a result she died, Now you have to raise two children on you own.

  And after 15 years of working hard in a measly job because they convinced you not to get educated but pioneer because the end was coming soon, the stress caused one of you children to commit suicide and the other to become an alcoholic.

  And because of that they blame you and remove you as a pioneer and elder because you are a bad example to the congregation. And now most of the members avoid you because you are bad association.

  And now you are 55 years old and the end still hasn't come and they changed the Generation that will not pass away to the overlapping generation.

  So you're a prophet Jan, that can predict the future. I know someone else that makes outrageous claims like you do. Ever heard of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses? They have been saying the same thing you do for 146 years. The only difference is they have been saying the whole world is going to shit, not just America.

  You are correct.

  The past 14 hours, others have weigh in on what the Supreme Court decision means. Now it's a different meaning from when the news first posted. Now they are saying the Supreme Court decision did not address the issue but has sent it back the the lower courts for AEA rulings. AEA refers to legal decisions regarding the Alien Enemies Act, which allows the U.S. government to detain and deport non citizens from countries considered hostile.

  Recent rulings have focused on the adequacy of notice given to detainees and the legality of the Trump administration's use of the Act for deportations, emphasizing the need for due process rights for those affected.

  So it seems the Supreme Court doesn't want to make a clear cut decision but wants to throw it back to the lower courts.
