Voting, why make it easier to vote??
by moomanchu indemocrats are always harping on and on about voting rights and how the ability to vote should be easier and access unrestricted.
the most progressive ones want to allow prisoners, and illegals with no voter id the ability to vote along with the criminals, drug addicts, and uneducated low lives who already can vote.. .
after they push for everyone and anyone to be able to vote they then tell us it is a sacred privilege, a duty and honor, and a big responsibility blah, blah ect..... if it is all those grandiose things are true i think it should be harder to vote not easier.

In the USA the Individual States determine who is qualified to Vote.
And the State law changes every election term, depending on whether the governor and State legislature becomes Republican majority or Democratic majority.
Guess what majority runs New York and California.
Here are some examples.
Incarcerated people from Maine, Vermont, and Washington, DC, can vote from prison
In 23 states, those with felony convictions automatically regain the right to vote when they are released from prison.
In 14 states, people formerly incarcerated for felonies automatically regain the right to vote after completing their entire sentence, including probation or parole
Eleven states do not automatically restore voting rights to everyone with felony convictions.
Six states — Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Wyoming — automatically restore voting rights for certain crimes, such as nonviolent felonies.
The specific crimes disqualifying former prisoners from automatic voting right restoration varies from state to state, but most commonly includes homicide, sexual crimes, and certain theft crimes.
As far as background checks for gun buying individuals, the USA has mandatory background check by the FBI. Contrary to popular belief, No one can buy a gun without a FBI background check. But most citizens are ignorant of this fact. And Democrats know this, so they use the rhetoric that the government needs to stop the hundreds or thousands of mass murders in the USA, and can only be accomplish by a Universal Registration.
FBI stats, show that more deaths are accomplish by knives than AR15.
What Democrats want is a Universal registration for all gun buyers. Which is different than a back ground check. A Universal registration is what allowed Hitler and other tyrants to disarm the citizens and allow them to commit genocide.
Gun buyers are required to submit to a background check through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).
A prospective buyer fills out ATF Form 4473 and the federally licensed firearms dealers relays this information to the NICS. NICS staff perform a background check to verify the prospective buyer does not have a criminal record and is not otherwise ineligible to purchase a firearm.
The NICS has conducted more than 300 million checks since launching in 1998, leading to over 3 million denials.
The following groups are currently prohibited from owning guns:
Convicted felons
People under federal domestic restraining orders
People convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence crimes against victims they have been married to, lived with, or had a child with
People committed to a mental-health facility, or a court ruled were mentally unfit
Fugitives
People convicted of drug crimes or determined to by a court to be addicted to an illegal controlled substance
Thirty states, five US territories, and the Washington, DC rely on the FBI for background checks via the NICS. Seven states handle some background checks with the FBI in charge of specific types of transactions. The remaining 13 states, known as “point of contact” states, rely on state law enforcement agencies for background checks.
There is no such thing as buying a gun in the USA without a background check. That being the case, how is it criminals get guns?
Why does the ATF go after Law abiding citizens with guns instead of going after gang members with guns?

I think Democrats have nefarious motives in wanting everyone to vote.
The most progressive ones want to allow prisoners, and illegals with no voter ID the ability to vote along with the criminals, drug addicts, and uneducated low lives who already can vote.
Most of us who keep up with politics know the reason why Democrats want all the scum to vote. Because all the illegals, prisoners, criminals, drug addicts, and uneducated will ALWAYS VOTE DEMOCRAT.And Democrats are trying hard to make the United States a One Party Government. That's why in Democrat run States criminals can steal up to 999 dollars and not be charged, Murders get out on small amt. of bail or none at all.A new bill in California will give illegal immigrants 150,000 Dollars of free money to buy a home, and 10,000 dollars of food stamps every month, courtesy of our tax dollars. These people will never vote any other way except Democrat.Quote;A first-in-the-nation California proposal could make undocumented immigrants eligible for up to $150,000 in state-supported home loans just as immigration has become an incendiary topic in the presidential election.
The measure is likely to pass the California Legislature this week where Democrats enjoy a supermajority and in a state that has the largest share of undocumented immigrants in the country.

Are you glad you got the Covid Vaccine? Did it help?
by liam ini didn’t get the covid vaccine, but i admit, i was scared as shit i made the wrong decision because there was so much confusion out there.
practically all my family and most of my friends took the vaccine because everyone was depending on those in charge to speak the truth.
now a lot of them are sick, and they can't figure out why.

That was a pretty good summation. It covered everything perfectly.
In the end, what's obvious to me : the left is nuts, the government is too big, we shouldn't be funding gain-of-function research. The government needs to be put back in its box.
I agree, the Government is too Big! I had a course in Political Science and the professor said that in order to save humanity from tyranny, we need to decentralize Nation-States.

That article was mind-provoking. I can’t imagine how catastrophic it would have been, if the mortality and infection rate of Covid in 2021 was the same as the 1918 pandemic.
Considering that today people travel all over the world regularly, if Covid was as deadly as the 1918 pandemic, and considering that today we have close to 400 million people living in the USA and over 8 billion world wide, the death count might have been close to a billion or billions world wide.
And that strain of 1918 affected young, healthy and strong as well as elderly and weak. There was no compromising. It didn’t matter if you were young, strong, and healthy, if you got the virus, you were gone.
It would have disrupted food production world wide, access to fuel in the winters, medical, water supplies, Doctors and nurses would be in short supply, and that would have caused chaos all over the world.
That’s not even considering the disease that would erupt after so many dead bodies started to pile up because no one would want to get close to infected bodies to bury them. It would have gone down in history as the worst catastrophic world event.
The world after such an event, might bring it back to a situation like the movie “The Road”

So… full conspiretard then. Complete with unnecessary formatting and misplaced capital letters
LOL, you sound like my grandfather.
He was an elder in the JW Org. Didn’t know how to use a computer, Once my dad showed him and taught him how to use email, then social media, he became the Grammar Police. It wasn’t long before he started harassing the Ministerial Servants for not using proper grammar in their emails. Not long after that he started making rules that to qualify as a MS or Elder, you had to use proper grammar in all internet communications. Not long after that, he got in a fight with all the elders. Not long after that they removed him as elder.
It’s the internet Brother.
I can use s p a c e s, or all CAPS, or Bold, or repeating exclamation !!!!! if I want to convey emphasis. I can lengthen words like yessssss or nooooo, to achieve other effects by repurposing the rules of formal writing. In the internet, we can use meme, emoticons, or just post a pic, to compensate for loss of gestures, vocal effects, or emotions.
This is not a site where critical writing by millions of authors hang out. It Chat-speak, is a place to yammer, opened to all sorts of people, coming from different islands and continents, each with its own rules, customs and conversations.
I think you would get along great with my GrandPops

The stab-jabbed aren't alone in this horror -- mRNA is in dental anesthetics, our grub (food) which Bobby Kennedy (RFK) is trying to warn about and protect the children.
I agree with you LV101

That's a big difference the way Trump approached it. "Take the Vaccine, I took it, it worked for me, ....... BUT, You have your freedom to do what you want.
The way Biden did it;
"We are going to Demand all the Armed Forces take the vaccine"

That's not what they promised in the beginning. That was said only after the vaccines did NOT prevent the disease.
Biden's words.
This is a Pandemic not of Covid but a Pandemic of the Unvaccinated.
"Our patience is wearing thin" with all you Unvaccinated people.

9 yr. old Luciana Laine Nash collapsed on first day of school at recess and died suddenly "her heart stopped unexpectedly" - many young children are dying of cardiac arrests.
That was the sad thing about the vaccines. A lot of young people and children died as a result of the vaccine.
It's starting to seem like those older ones who got the vaccine and got Covid and survived, was not the result of the vaccine, but instead survived because they were stronger and healthier than they imagined.
If it was the vaccine that was responsible for older ones who took the vaccine to survive, why then did other older one who took the vaccine die when they got Covid?
I believe those that took the vaccine and survived was because they were healthy enough to withstand Covid and the Vaccine had nothing to do with it.
But the CEOs and shareholders and anyone selling Covid fear still became Billionaires.

blondie
but it was bad and I remember people in the 50's seeing children dying or "crippled" by polio.
It seems to me from what I read, that those days when there was polio, and all those other diseases that we don't see today, was a much worse time than the one we are living in right now.
I mean back in the early 1900s, there was everything bad. Two world wars, tons of diseases we don't have today, two atomic bombs that disintegrated two cities, no medicare, no Social Security, a great depression.
I can see why the Watchtower was able to convince a lot of people that they were now in the last days.
But that's not the case today. I know a lot of poor people without jobs who somehow drive nice cars, have tons of streaming services, get plenty of food stamps, always have beer and cigarettes, and pot in their home, and medicaid for all their kids. Plus I know a lot of girls younger than me, that are making between 10k -40k a week in only fans and live a luxury life style.
I guess I was born in a time when a lot of things don't make sense. 19 year old girls making more money than a heart surgeon. Where thieves in some States can steal $999.99 worth of merchandise and not get charged. Where the USA is not really a Country anymore with open borders. And where a lot of people believe a man can have a baby. And let's not forget the elites trying hard to control all the masses and resources world wide.
I'm actually working on moving out of the US, but I don't know where? And if the USA starts a WW3, no place will be safe.
And I don't believe Kenny Rogers is coming to save the day.
