RT, hope this in not too off-topic, but when possible, might have you wife point out to her sister the grand example of baptism that Jesus left for us; the fact that He himself was not baptized until fully mature, spiritually and physically. Give the little sis some amunition in case mom trys browbeating her into being baptized.

Your Thoughts Needed
by RandomTask inthis is a complicated situation, so i hope i can explain it well.. my wife and i were raised witnesses.
we got out about a year after we got married and haven't been back since.
although we arent disfellowshipped or disassociated, my wife's family has over the past few years limited the association that her sister, who is 15, can have with my wife.

I need a female weight loss buddy....support help!
by scootergirl inokay......first of the year.......goals to be made and achieve (hopefully).. one of my goals is to drop a few pounds and firm a few places.
i know better than to get any support from my husband ("oh, you look fine, honey")....so i was wondering if there is anybody (preferrably female) on the board that would be interested in supporting me/and me supporting them (weight loss goal).
i have read of a few females that are trying to lose a few extra......so i am pretty sure i am not alone.. i am trying to focus on eating more healthy and cutting down on snacks.

"So how would this work, exactly???"
I don't know. But I do know that I am more than willing to do this with you, scootergirl, be it e-mail, message board, telephone, instant messenger, whatever.
Losing to my goal would make it possible for me to dance and ride again - two of my three passions in life. Would put be back into the 'foxey' catagory, an old fox, but it beats the alternative. Count me in.

Been there....thanfully, haven't done that. You say you are 41 and have grown children and grand children. Behave yourself as the mature, responsible adult you are supposed to be, a living example to your children and grandchildren. You are still legally married until a divorce is final. You can still ride with you friends and have fun. Be a real man and do what you know is right and proper. talley

The "automobile in the desert" example is totally wrong, as all us upper midwesterners know. We constantly look for antique and classic models that were purchased new in the dry southwest of the USA and stayed in that area: no rust, no corrosion, replace belts, seals and hoses, a little more fun stuff and you have an antique ready to roll under its own power!!!! I was ambovolent about evolution until life experience, observation and occupation impressed upon me the wonders of genetics, development and birth. No contest in my mind - all life (plant & animal) has not been derrived from some grand accident, rather it was marvelously designed and implemented.

1 6oz. package of cherry Jello
2 cups. boiling water (disolve per directions)
1 can of cherry pie filling
8 oz. (1/2 pint) of heavey whipping cream
after disolving per directions, let cool to just above room temp and add the cherry pie filling, stirring to blend, then add the heavey whipping cream (do not whip), stirring again to blend to uniform color. refrigerate - I give it a couple of more stirs while it is beginning to set up just to be sure (?) - until firm. can be topped with cool whip or the real thing or left plain.
