according to a pro-islam website... islam?s history is filled with conquest and violence.

i was intrigued by another posters post about how the crusades were in response to the muslims invading the western world... so i had to do my own research to see if this was actually true.. as it turns out, the muslims have a habit of trying to take over the world.

Well, sports fans, your young children and grandchildren will be living the history of the future, and if they are female, they will be living the future in a burka.

When I first got the computer, I sutmbled unto a demographic article of Islam in Denmark. Wish I could find the exact page again, but I can't. The upshot of the article was that at the rate of Danish and Muslim births, Muslims will be the voting majority in Denmark in 40 years. I suspect that France and Germany will not be far behind. Maybe one can even add Canada to that list, as they have recently sanctioned Islamic 'judicial courts' there. Our going overboard on political correctness will be the demise of 'western civilization' as we now know it.

If they can't kill us all, they will outbreed us.

And Elsewhere, thanks for the information on Islam that you have been passing along. We have gotten so complacent and feel so secure that we are not able to recognize danger when it stares us in the eyes.

MILITARY DRAFT COMING BACK IN 2005 - STOP BUSH NOW

for those of you that have not heard yet there are two bills pending in congress to bring back the military draft for all 18 - 26 year olds.

for the website see www.congress.org/congressorg/issues/alert/?alertid=583400/&content_dir=ua_congressorg .twin bills s 89 and hr 163 are now being quitely pushed through so that it could become law as early as spring 2005. the bush administrations illegal and unconstitutional war in iraq has cost hundreds of billions of dollars and hundreds of american lives and they mean to keep our troops their indefinitely in the foreseeable future.

stop this madness now before it is too late.

cbew, the 'media are strangly silent' on this subject on purpose because it is a Democrat Party proposal that would be very unpopular, thus would possibly effect the re-election of Dems. in the House and Senate. The media never does any unfavorable mention of the Dem. party.

I needed that. It wans't about anything in the Cong., but rather something in my foolish and thoughtless 30's. Some of us don't gorw up until very late in life. But your outlook above is a bit of a comfort as I think about what you said. Thanks again.

Culling and Hunting.... your opinions?

i am sure this post will anger a few people, and i respect that some find the idea of killing an animal repulsive.

all i ask is that, if you reply, you concentrate more on what you think of hunting and culling, rather than posting insults that i am a brute etc.

unfortunately it is a sad fact of life, that sometimes it is necessary to kill one or many animals to make sure things stay in balance.

Welllll folks, we have the same kind of feral cat problem. Talked to the vet about it and he made some calls around and told me we would have to find a different soulution than "trap, spay, and release". That procedure is very expensive and expecially dangerous for the personell involved. We have been hoping for a 'virulent bug' to come along the past two winters (something wiped out all our farm cats about 15 years ago), but no luck there. The feral cats we have just moved in on their own several years ago, maybe three of them, and then just started multiplying. Right now there is not a mouse or rat within 1/2 mile of the place. I will be looking for a 'sharpshooter' soon. Either that or trap and drown in the cow tank.

Then the deer situation has gotten way out of hand. During the depression, when hubby was a kid, they hardly ever saw any deer, because the farmers ate them...didn't have deer or wood ticks either back then so no Rockey Mountian Spotted Fever and/or Lymes Disease. We find fresh deer dropings on our lawn every morning. Last year this time we had "Deer Damage" tags that the DNR had us issue for antlerless only. 12 deer were shot between May - October, and they are still running in herds and up to 30 at a time can be counted in one alfalfa field or another at night.

The 'critters' are taking over !!!

Hello SWALKER, and welcome to this board.

From what you have told us about the memorial, I gather that you still use the Bible as your guide.

Then I will suggest that you read "Crisis of Conscience" and "In Search of Christian Freedom" both by Ray Franz.

Both books present a loving and scriptural approach, bringing up many, many matters that the WTBTS would like to keep 'under the rug.

These books can be found at your public library and if not there, can be gotten through inter-library loan. Or they can be bought on http://www.freeminds.org and http://www.commentarypress.com

OMG...It's ALL TRUE !! And we love it. Must be 'cause we're farmers from Wis. i.e.. yankee rednecks. We have been going to Talladega, AL, every April since 1990, for the NASCAR race. That first time there, we were prowling, looking for a spot to park the motor home and as we were passing a nice spot, thinking we should be over to the left about 20' to be politely fare enough from the 'rig' to our right, that woman was waving to us and approached saying "that's fine, shut it down right there". They were (still are) a couple from Milledgeville, GA. Now the group of friends has grown over the years to total 14 rigs that camp together. And one, from MS, the guy calls me 'Miss Juuudy' with a twinkle in his eye, knowing I melt inside - what a classy flirt! And any youngsters in camp call us Mr. Bud and Miss Judy. One year (can't remember which) the race was rained out, cancelled and rescheduled for Mother's Day weekend in May. No way we could 'haul' back down there, 1100 miles one way, besides early May is corn planting time in WI. I was 'pissing and moaning and groaning" on the way home, and Bud said "the trip was still worth it because we got to see the folks" ! And he was/is right. It means more to us to make that trip to see the 'folks' than to even go to my family reunion in Mich. every year. We make it to Mich. less than once every five years. Even though we were born in WI, our soul/spirit is from the South. Only 4 more weeks and we will be back there again !!
