  Why are there more sisters than brothers at the Kingdom Hauls?

  i have always wondered why there are more females than males in all of the congregations that i have visited?

  some of these females are in their 70's so maybe their husbands have died and women just live longer.

  or could the reason be that years ago men were the breadwinners and women stayed home to raise the children thus they were home during the week when the jdubs came a knocking?

  Aren`t their more "Nuns" than "Brothers" in the Catholic religion ?

  Jehovah`s Witnesses have copied the R.C.Church on every thing else so why not this ?

  Pioneer School scare tactics

  i just talked with a pioneer who came back from school and she said that at the end there was emphasis put on two things.. 1: stay loyal to the governing body and their teachings.. 2: beware of propaganda.

  they said that in wartime the enemy will use propaganda to break the spirit of or confuse the troops.

  they said the same things is happening now, so reject negative reports about the organization.. this pioneer (who is fully pimi btw and enthusiastic about it) said she asked her cotboe about if we really have that problem here.

  2018 Regional (District) Convention Outlines

  so the official program is out but does anyone have access to the actual outlines for the assembly this year in english and/or spanish?.

  maybe the gb are clamping down on their "high-up" leaks within the organisation and the circuit overseers making these available have been kicked or had to no longer leak material for fear of getting themselves discovered by the wt gestapo..

  i haven't found religion viable after we left the jws some fifty years ago.. oddly enough i will be conducting a session at the oxford forum which is put on once a week on a sunday by the presbyterian church.

  they invite scholars, professors, artists etc.

  people of interest to expose their congregation to what else is going on in this community.

  It would be very interesting and informative if this could possibly be recorded so that a far greater audience could benefit from your experience .

  I will be conducting a session at the Oxford Forum which is put on once a week on a Sunday by the Presbyterian church. They invite scholars, professors, artists etc. people of interest to expose their congregation to what else is going on in this community.

  Please let us know how this went and as I said if it could be recorded that would be excellent if their are no objections to doing so .

  Automatic Donations Introduced Online

  this was announced a couple of weeks ago on the clam.

  you can now donate to any congregation, the worldwide work, and assemblies online.

  further they have implemented recurring payments "because the hard part about donating is remembering to donate," they actually said that!

  If they d'fed you and start shunning you will they terminate your recurring payments?

  And would they give back all you have donated beforehand ?

  Newspaper is interested in interviewing me!!!

  a friend and client and former politician just called me.

  he knows people in the media and had offered a few months back to see if anyone would be interested in doing a story on what i'm doing through my podcasts this jw life" and "shunned".

  of course i was excited but things take time and you never know if they'll pan out.
