A Good point stuck ,just another example of us ex JW`s accepting something without thinking it through in our willingness to believe whatever came out of the G.B.`s mouth but not anymore.

Why should WE be the bloodguilty ones??
by stuckinarut2 init struck me just how odd and weird it is that jws are told that if they do not preach, they are "bloodguilty" for failing to warn people of the upcoming destruction at armageddon.. hang on a minute now, hang on!.
why should a mere human be made to feel "bloodguilty" and "responsible" for "failing to warn someone" of gods wrath??.
these average people are not the ones who are about to unleash a genocidal massacre on 99% of humanity (including babies born to non-witnesses).

JW Stumper Questions - List You Best Here
by pale.emperor inhi guys.
sooner or later we're going to get a jw knocking on our door.
just like when we were jw's doing the knocking, it's good to have a question prepared to get them thinking about their own beliefs.

Why, in all of the illustrations in J.W literature of the anointed in heaven are they portrayed as men with beards.?
Aren`t their women in your organization that are women who are of the Anointed ? It`s not just restricted to men ?
So why are all the illustrations in your publications portrayed as only men ?
{J.W}. because in heaven their is no gender neither male or female .
{You}. If their is no gender neither male or female then why are those pictured as having beards ? doesn`t that give the impression that they are all male ? and that their are no females ruling with Christ Jesus.?
how do you answer this conundrum ?

"Oh, That Fine Red Glow" in Brooklyn
by Wild_Thing inthis journalist's love of the watchtower sign in brooklyn is a bit disturbing ... and weird.
i assume he was not raised a jehovah's witness, as the sign evokes fond memories for him seeing the sign's night glow of red showing the time and temp.
he takes pictures of the sign from multiple locations and angles as a "keepsake".

Why was the word "Watchtower" so prominent on the building anyway ? Wasn`t the Jehovahs Witnesses supposed to make the name "Jehovah" known in all the inhabited earth ?
However the Bible in the New Testament /Christian Greek Scriptures explicitly states that the name of Jesus is the name above every other name in heaven ,on earth, and under the ground.Phil.2:9-11 { including Jehovah`s name } during the Christian Era.
Isn`t red a symbol of fire ? ,so maybe that is prophetic of what will eventually happen to the WTB&TS .

Paradise? Was it?
by TerryWalstrom inparadisewas it really paradise to be in paradise?adam and eve never were held by a mother, never cuddled and sung to with a lullaby nor nursed or coddled with tenderness or any human familial embrace.
the first humans (adam and eve) never learned to toddle surrounded by brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles and grandparents cheering them on.
the entire experience of childhood was excised surgically like a trauma patient awakening from an accident with amnesia.adam and eve were never in a neighborhood with other kids forming friendship bonds for life and exchanging dreams and hopes for a future they were building in their community.

What Could Jehovah’s Special Provision Be to Save His People From the Wicked Watchtower Society?
by MADMARY ini was baptized as one of jehovah witnesses in 1986. then in 2003, i disassociated myself officially with a letter.
but i did not stop reading the bible or believing in god.
but i have noticed everyone’s reaction here is very different to the great wickedness of the watchtower society.. some of us do not believe in god anymore, and threw their bibles away completely.

Maybe by just pointing out the obvious.
Jehovah`s Witnesses claim to be Bible based in Scripture.
Philipians 2:9- 10 says God gave Jesus a name that is above every other name and that every knee should bend of those in heaven on earth and those under the ground.
{That obviously excludes the name Jehovah that is not found in the Christian Greek Scriptures and neither is the Tetragrammaton or its Greek equivalent.
Also ,at Acts 11: "it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians "
Note : "by divine providence" and "they were to be called Christians"
Not Jehovah`s Witnesses.
And even after Isa,43 : 10- 12 ,the Jews never ever identified themselves as Jehovah`s witnesses even though that scripture was meant for them primarily.
Secondly: Jesus never identified his followers as Jehovah`s Witnesses
In conclusion Acts and Phillipians clearly show that Jesus is the one name to put your trust and hope in as that is the name GOD gave to Christians to put faith in.

Not A Day Goes By Without Me Thinking About Watchtower
by pale.emperor inalthough i consider myself completely "cured" from watchtower brainwashing, guilt tripping and propaganda, i realised today that there's not a day that goes by without me thinking of the cult we left.
i think of my former family and what i'd like to say to them, what i'd try to explain and how i'd say it without them switching the "ignore" button and running away.. today on my instagram account my little step-brother "liked" a picture i posted.
i didn't even know he was still on my friends list.

It`s about 25 years since my wife & I set foot in a KH yet since I`ve had a PC thanks to my son for the past 10-12 years I have been interested in whats going on in JW land and I check in almost daily.
It`s become like an addiction with me .I am interested in peoples experience`s and those who exit the cult as well as any news that will bring them down such as the ARC and the many law suits against them from all over the world.
And I try to add my 2 cents worth by commenting and/or posting hoping I can contribute to someone leaving the religion.
Trying to make up for the many hours I spent in my 33 years as a JW trying to make converts into the JW ranks.

J.W.'s reliance on Matthew 24:14
by The Fall Guy invirtually every j.w.
will gladly tell you that matthew 24:14 proves that only they are god's true people/religion, because they are the only people preaching the good news worldwide today.
crucially, they double-down on this lame bet by adding that their worldwide preaching proves another wtbts teaching, namely, that we are living in "the last days.

What exactly in a nutshell is "This good news of the Kingdom" ? that Jesus spoke about , and have the IBSA/Jehovahs Witnesses always preached it consistently ?

Australian Football player Alex Rance
by Mattieu inhow can i describe alex rance?
if i was from the uk or europe, imagine your best football goal keeper.
if from the usa, imagine your best defence player in the nfl.

Alex Rance`s value as a player has gone up tremendously as well as his potential for more endorsements in the media such as radio and TV opportunities .
He has already branched out in TV and Radio on a small scale and I can see that blossoming into larger engagements in the future.
He does have a pleasant nature is articulate and a good looking young man (none of which can be attributed to his religion)
In the light of previous posts and his new found fame in being a deciding factor in the AFL Grand Final win for his club Richmond ,it will be interesting how he handles the accolades that will come his way and the predatory women who want to bed these football "stars" for their share in the spotlight.
I wish him well ,but human imperfections are what makes us human ,the first perfect human didn`t fare well did he.
I will watch this space.

Nobody loves you like a dog does except maybe a cat.
We had a toy poodle that my wife bought as a pup,I wasn`t that keen at first ,however gradually that dog bonded with me and I with her. After a couple of years a teenage cat adopted us and both of them stayed with us for about 16-17 years until we had to put them down because of old age and illness .
I never want to go through that heartache/heartbreak again I was a wreck
"R.I.P. Lilly and Daisy" as I type this tears are flowing down my face and it`s been a few years since their passing..
Thanks for this post coCo

The boys in Pennsylvania- The real power behind Watchtower
by UnshackleTheChains ini am quite interested in something mike and kim said in their video when talking about why their you tube videos are being taken down.
in their video below, at around 35 seconds.
mike say's that he has being trying to tell people that the boys in pennsylvania are the real power behind watchtower - not the governing body?.

The real power behind the Jehovah`s Witness religion is not Jehovah and certainly not Jesus whom they relegate to the backroom ,it is the Legal department ,and the Public relations department , and the power -brokers but especially the legal department.
The legal department I believe is instrumental in determining some doctrines especially controversial doctrines and has little to do with Biblical scripture.
Jehovah`s Witnesses are not governed or directed by Holy Spirit ,they are governed and directed by what is beneficial to the advancement and growth of the religion using human strategies at their disposal such as Lawyers and power-brokers.
This was a man made religion from the start and it has used it`s influence over Gulilble people to build itself into a multi-million dollar publishing empire over the western world.
Which suited them well until it became clear they could no longer charge for books or magazines they were placing door to door. without being taxed for their sales.
