The OP video is a short excerpt from CBC's The Fifth Estate's "Spiritual Shepherds" that was originally broadcast on January 29, 2003.

OK that was now 14 years ago and this whistleblower is still hiding his identity ? in the year 2017 ?

Protecting the identity of whistle blowers is a fairly standard practice. And more common than not when a television expose is done on sensitive material concerning a large corporation and/or religion.

Maybe so but a person who puts their money where their mouth is ,is going to gain a lot more respect and believabillity than someone who doesn`t put their name to an allegation and hides there identity .

i am doing a very extensive document, it is a work in progress, that details how to know, just using a list of eclipses in the 6th and 7th century bce, excel, and knowing how to read lunar eclipse graphs and maps, that jerusalem fell in 587 b.c.e., and not 607 b.c.e.

I`m just curious zeb as to why you would refer IloveTTATT2 to read "The Gentile Times Reconsidered" x Jonsson.

What relationship has one to do with the other ? Do they cover the same ground and /or compliment each other ?

I must confess I have never read Jonsson`s book and I look forward to TTATT2`s English work.

A definitive answer that would satisfy a JW as to what date either 587B.C.E. or 607B.C.E. would be a dream.

Irish Elders deleted by Watchtower for reporting child sex abuse allegation to police

two elders have been deleted by watchtower for reporting an allegation of child sexual abuse to the police, contrary to watchtower orders (a jw paedophile with a history, apparently).

when the british branch discovered what the elders had done they arranged for 3 elders to fly over to ireland, at the congregations expense no less, to hold a special jc for the ' rogue' congregation elders.

one elder and the cobe were deleted, two were allowed to continue.

I`m sorry but for various reasons I cannot watch a video of an hour or more can someone who has watched it break it down so that we can get the gist /highlights of the main points that need to be discussed ?

When did this happen ? Have the Elders who were deleted ever gone public ?What about Media publications in the news,etc.about this case .

If it turns out to be true that western, first world nations are losing memberships ,Baptisms are down ,congregations are being reduced in number ,2/3rds of born in children leave the religion ,the literature they used to print is dramatically reduced,the intellect of the average JW today is pathetic in trying to defend their faith ,if they try at all.

Watch a group of JW`s the next time their in your territory,they dawdle from D2D mainly conversing among themselves ,their is no urgency or purpose to the" work" they are doing ,are not interested in engaging in conversation to point out it`s a life and death message they are preaching to the householder , they just do not care.

The majority of JW`s that go from D2D now are resigned to what they believe is a fact that nobody is interested anymore so why bother ?

They are just biding time ,which they can count at the KH.and prove to Jehovah/Jesus that they are worthy.

So what is the point of Paterson ? Just to preach to the converted ?They are not gaining new converts with all of this expense ,it`s not reaching out to the world in general ,it`s only going to a captive audience .

How long can that last ?.

The 2nd and 3rd world countries just do not have the money to sustain this program for very long and it cannot last.

Maybe the B.A.C.A should be hired by the money donated from GoFundme to participate in this protest ,maybe if they know the facts they will do it for nothing .

No harm in asking is there ?

True the die-hard JW`s will harden their hearts and believe its a sign they have the truth however fringe JW`s and newly interested ones and the youth in the congregation will likely have second thoughts about being involved in such a religion.

So I wouldn`t dismiss this type of protest out of hand ,they all have a role to play in exposing the JW religion as a cult to stay away from.

This is an old video! I've always wondered who that was

Lets get a few things straight from the outset :

1.How old is this video ?

2.The video does not identify him as a Lawyer ,he is only an Elder (?) who is assigned to the legal department to answer phone calls.

3. The fact that his identity is obscured either by name or visual has to take away belief/accuracy/truthfulness from his testimony.?

4.If your not prepared to back up your accusations in a public forum/media and being upfront about it then don`t make such accusations you do no one a service except raise questions about your own agenda..

Just my 2 cents worth.

I know what he says sounds correct and logical but he does no service to those he is supposed to be protecting or those he is supposed to be accusing if he is hiding his identity .

It would be far better if he said nothing at all ,it`s just sensational journalism that can`t be verified.

I await the backlash

Outside JW World They Barely Exist

is anyone else staggered by the fact that outside of the organization most of the general public seem to know very little or nothing about jw’s?

when i was in i was led to believe that 99% of the worlds population had been giving sufficient warning, knew what it was all about and were stubbornly sticking to their immoral ways.

the reality seems to be that the entire jw universe is barely noticeable to the masses.

10 million people are born every month. It is mathematically impossible for JWs to preach to the entire world and simply keep up with the birth rate.

This is just another example of where JW`s speak out of both sides of their mouth .

They have stated in their publications that not every single person needs to be witnessed to , just the fact that they have "Witnessed " to every continent on the earth to fulfill the prophecy that the "Good News is To be Preached In All The Inhabited Earth"

They pointed out that the scriptures do not say that every individual has to be preached to .

And that it is up to Jehovah/Jesus as to who is to be saved or not.

I`m sorry I can`t remember the articles that contained those words ,maybe somebody else can.

It was at least 25 years ago.

I have mixed feelings about this sort of activism maybe some of the younger ones may wonder what`s going on and their curiosity is aroused so that they may eventually seek out sites like this ,it certainly would have no effect in my book on the older generation who are well indoctrinated against this sort of behavior no matter how peaceful they are.

However I suppose it takes all kinds of methods to be employed to reach as many people as we can.

A dent here a dent their ,here their and everywhere and sooner or later a breach is made in the wall enslaving a Jehovah`s Witness to the cult masquerading as "The True Religion"

Well done AKid48 just be careful who you open up to about waking up to TTATT at 13 your still under the guardianship of your parents and you do need to keep on good terms with them .
