Sister may have had a slight heart attack, do I text her?

so my cousin phoned and told me my jw sister was taken to hospital with chest pains and it may have been a slight heart attack or possibly she's starting with angina.

now as some of you know my sisters and brother have had little to do with me for 29 years.

we've met at funerals, or arranged them, but i just thought today what if she did die?

You did the right "normal" thing Xanthippe by reaching out to your sister in a loving caring way and it seems to have been a very good outcome please keep us posted

Just a thought that occurred to me and I could be wrong and feel free to correct me if I am but doesn`t the word "window" imply that it has a pane of glass in it ?

Did they have glass windows in Jesus day ? did Eutychus crash through it ?or was it an open window ?

jw will answer yes.. 2) ask if satan is imperfect then.. 3) sit back and watch them try to work out what the right answer should be.. sf.

geoffrey jackson testified to the arc that the governing body has apologized for things in the past, so an apology to sexual abuse victims is "perceivable".

what has the governing body ever apologized for?.

my demeanor during our conversation was extremely serious.

i was polite, but dignified.

I would have liked it if you had challenged him on that statement Magnum and got his response .

“But you know what? They’re helping the young people.”

Anyone watching Star Trek Discovery?

so i've been watching the show and really enjoying it.

great to see a trek tv series finally get a reasonable budget.

beautiful costumes, sets, cinematography, action pieces, etc.. really my only complaints are how cg all the ships look and there's a fair bit of stiff dialog from time to time.. what do you guys think of the show?.
