"Generation of 1914" Countdown Timer

very simple yet shows the estimated amount of people that are living that are from the generation of 1914, defined as "all the people who were alive, even just barely being born, when ww1 started".. here's what i assumed:.
10% of the 1.7 billion people alive in 1914 were infants, just children.

So you have got as far as 11 bible books and 156 "ways or reasons to die in the bible " I cant wait for you to cover the next 28 books of the "Old Testament"
And the 27 books of the "New Testament" I know their is some great ways to die in there .
I look forward to see the final count unless I get snuffed before then.
It makes you wonder about this statement in the Bible doesn`t it ?
John 3:16 " For God loved the world so much...."
Isn`t it normal to judge a being by their actions and not by their words ?

Films with nudity
by neat blue dog ini guess every jw has a different conscience on the matter, and i don't believe any jw publications have ever specifically mentioned nudity in film as being off limits.
of course genitals are out of the question because that's usually relegated to r movies which most good jws don't view.
female toplessness is condoned but not spoken about, as most jws i know have seen titanic and many own it.

#100 Women
by Lost in the fog inin the uk the bbc has been celebrating the role of women who have made a difference to the world.
they have focused on 100 women in particular who have taken a lead in various professional jobs.
isn't it sad that we'll never see a jehovah’s witness woman appearing on such a list because of the misogynistic attitude within their organisation.

it was a voyage of self-discovery for me to play cowboy, tarzan, and superman in drag in my neighborhood--completely unwitting to my astonishing spectacle presented to the neighbors!

I give THANKS to my 1st best friend, Johnny Santa Cruz,
Well i just had to respond to this one as it was a John Santa Cruz who first made me aware of Jehovah`s Witnesses who was a co-worker of mine here in Australia and was instrumental in getting me to be baptised about 18 months later in the 1960`s.
He had been brought up in the religion had his own problems and was just getting back into it when he contacted me.
A very sensitive guy who was different from my usual friends and was a bit paranoia about persecution because they had the "truth" and that somehow appealed to me a bit .
One thing he said to me after I was in it for a couple of years was "one day you will probably hate me for bringing you into this religion "
But I never blame him for that ,it was my choice my decision .For my own reasons .
And after I left the job where we worked together at I lost contact with him and that`s going back to the 1950`s .
