  mary baker eddy founded christian science.. florence crawford founder apostolic faith mission .

  this is just a few of the movements where christian women had a very important role in getting them off the ground and were accepted by males as having gods approval.. and it is not without biblical precedence judges ch.4 & 5 that relates about deborah who was a prophetess and judge over israel for fourty years with jehovah`s approval and blessing of peace he gave her during her reign .. how do these facts fit with women in the jw religion ?

  i faded from the religion and simply didn’t go back.

  once people understood that my family and i left, people in the congregation didn’t know what to do.

  should they call me, visit me, leave me alone?

  we simply faded over ten years ago, walked out and never went back. I suppose they simply view us as "lapsed", which is not true, we are EX JW's, and NEVER will return.

  That`s what bugged me Phizzy after about 15 years out. So i decided to DA myself and in my mind I DF the religion from me and not vice versa.

  Guardian Angels don`t seem to do a very good job in protecting people from what I have observed of believers.

  They all should be sacked .

  And if their record is anything to go by then other Angels can`t be doing any better ,so they also should be sacked.

  And Jehovah being the CEO of this mob can`t get any better results then he also should be sacked .

  Sack the lot of them they all seem pretty piss weak to me.

  Why is Jesus Depicted as the Warrior at Armageddon on just a Horse with a Bow and Arrow ?

  i never understood this.

  the wt depicts jesus, the all powerful one to destroy evil, being depicted as using a bow and arrow from a horse.

  that seems like something from medieval times.. in todays world of nuclear bombs, precision laser directed bombs and advanced military technology, does a bow and arrow really put a fear into anyone?.

  Don`t forget the loving God Jehovah sent men into battle with a two edged sword with the command kill everybody man,woman,and child ,and don`t let your eye feel sorry for them .

  Disassociation experiences please

  hi everyone.. i would love to collate the experiences of those who decided to disassociate.

  the reason i am asking this question is that i have been in turmoil for a very long time as to whether i remain a fader or whether to bring closure on my membership with the watchtower organisation.. it is for this reason i would like to read about some of the experiences of those on this forum who went down the route of disassociation.

  if could answer the following.

  I must have been out for about 15 years when I decided to DA.

  And mainly it was because of experiences I heard on here.

  I figured it was me DF the religion and not the other way round .It didn`t sit well with me thinking that they would just regard me as weak in the truth or just inactive ,so I felt I needed to make a statement,so I sent a letter of DA to the last KH I attended.

  I had no family left in except a niece who had no contact with us anyway.

  I have no regrets.

  If the Bible really was the word of God ,then you would think their would be stuff in there that was far beyond the technology of the writer of the day.

  But apparently Jehovah had no idea himself what humans could develop technology wise.

  Are Jehovah’s Witnesses as “Ministers” Teachers?

  all jws are supposed to be “ ministers”.

  i would think that anyone that is considered a minister should have immense knowledge of their religion and should be able to teach anyone who inquires of the teachings.

  my understanding is that most witnesses cannot explain even basic teachings without difficulty.

  When they are baptised ?

  Evidently Jehovah overlaps there brain with all of this knowledge to make it so.

  in all of the art i`ve seen in christendom, angels always have the form of a male, and in the bible those that are named always have a male name such as michael ,gabriel , etc, .

  nowhere in the art world that i have seen do angels have the female form, and in the bible they don`t have female names.. so if the angels are neither male or female why then are they depicted as males with male names ?and not female also ?.

  the watchtower illustrators also follow this line .when they illustrate an angel it is always in the form of a male and never a female form.. the anointed who make up the 144000 comprise of male and females right ?

  Hi, Nevuela I was thinking of inside Christian churches & mainly thinking about JW`s and their illustrations however I guess I have to eat my words on that score .

  When God said let us make a man like us and created Adam, it seems He did not have any plans of creating a woman.

  Reason on that scripture Daniel ," God said let US make man in our image " that implys their were other Gods and not just Jehovah/Yahweh

  And it could also imply that these Gods were male ?

  Eve was created because Adam was seen as being lonely.

  All of the animals were created male and female before him otherwise they would all have died out the same as the human race so it was a natural thing to create a woman for Adam.

  Animals were not created asexual ,they needed a male and female counterpart.

  Its a completely different scenario with Angels from what we as humans understand they were never designed to procreate as male and females.

  So the desire of Angels to have sex with daughters of men was an abomination.
