  we just held our 3rd annual new year's day party.. we kept the list down to thirty invites this year with the provision that they could bring guests.

  so the final count was well up there.

  by the way, happy new year to all.. so, i'm wondering, if all the current global population converted to jwism what would happen to the approximately 300,000 births and 150,000 daily deaths?.

  and, where are the 'false gods' today and where is yahweh nowadays?.

  just my mind wanderings.. oh, and if the governing body has the global solution, why aren't they preaching to world leaders directly?

  it appears this study article has been written because the organization is still having trouble teaching african jws that they are not to follow their traditional customs when someone dies and not to believe in spirits.it has been speculated for some time that it is african jws that have attributed to the increase in 'anointed' partakers.interestingly, no-where in this article does it even mention their two class system and the anointed having a heavenly hope.

  it is amazing that they title the article as upholding the truth about death and fail to mention their two hope doctrine.the following are some quotes -.

  When you stop and think about how many active Jehovah`s Witnesses do you know of that can really explain the so called deeper doctrines / beliefs that are currently held by the religion .?

  The fact that they fob you off to JW.Org to get answers to your questions is a give away .

  And if you compare Christendoms training of clergy in its various classes as teachers of their faith with that of the so called training of Jehovah`s Witnesses , their is just no comparison .

  Christendom wins hands down , with the in depth years of study that is required .

  Jehovah`s Witnesses ? Get your 10-20 hours of field service in a month for a year or so ,agree with everything the G.B. tells you to agree with and hey presto your in .

  And for the far greater majority ,just get 10 hours of field service in each month and your a minister of religion .

  You don`t have to do any in depth study of Theology ,History ,Religious Texts ,Hebrew or Greek ,all you have to do is get your hours in a month and accept everything as gospel what the G.B.say .

  Even our 10 year old children are ministers of religion and they don`t have to know any of that crap that Christendom demands of their ministers.

  Its probably true that the African Elders are not sure of the condition of the dead themselves .And are conditioned by age old traditions that the spirit lives on after one dies .

  Old habits ,traditions ,long held beliefs are very hard to disengage from.

  the possible financial ruin to which faithful & discreet slave/governing body has brought wt corporation, due to all the underhanded/illegal/thoughtless policies as g.o.d(guardians of doctrine) seems to be a very real possibility, as court cases mount against the wt and it's different corporations.. montana just gave a very clear $$$$30million+ shout out to wt, about it's fucked up policies, which lay at the feet of those in charge.

  it seems that some type of no confidence should be expressed and a complete over haul should be happening.

  they can not keep this information secret any more and they are totally delusional ass holes if they think they can talk their way out of this.. therefore i think we shall see some desperate measures to keep this fraudulent organization financially stable and a removal from power those responsible for the mess..

  It wouldn`t surprise me one bit if a coup was to take place some time in the future , surely the writing is on the wall as far as the existing GB are concerned .

  The Lawyers are not so stupid that they can`t see the trends taking place and its more likely that is where the shift will come from as they are privy to all the nitty gritty`s of what is going on in the organization , even more so than the actual GB members .

  Interesting times are still ahead for us to observe.

  should he have also urged lay people in the catholic religion to do the same ?

  in the catholic church their does seem to be a prominence of clergy that have been engaged in this abuse .. i`m not sure that can be said of the jehovah`s witness religion ,my understanding is while this abuse does involve elders and ms to some degree ,the majority of cases occurs within the laity class ,the rank and file members of the congregations.. where the jw`s religion is responsible for a duty of care to its most vulnerable members ,the children.. could or would the governing body of jehovah`s witnesses ever make such an appeal to the elders ,m.s.

  or the rank & file of jw`s to turn themselves in if they have been guilty of sexual abuse against a child ?.

  australian cardinal george pell, the vatican's third-highest ranking official, was convicted of sexual assault by a victoria court on december 11, 2018.. but australian media aren't reporting on the trial or its outcome.

  despite pell's mammoth status in the catholic church and as a public figure, his trial has been held in secret, following a victorian county court suppression order that applies australia-wide.

  it was imposed after the court accepted that knowledge of the accused's identity in the first trial might prejudice a further trial being held in march.. i believe this suppression order only applies to australia whereas this case may have been reported upon overseas ?
