Any form of the media that exposes the Jehovah`s Witness excuse for a religion is OK by me .
The more people that see and read these accounts the less people that will be sucked into their propaganda..
And i think overall it was a great article .Well presented and not sensationalist.
Kudos to the journalist Douglas Quenqua for writing a well balanced summary of the JW religion .

for those in victoria australia this coming friday the 29th of march foxtel on demand is streaming the first of a series called "cults and extreme beliefs" and the first series deals with nxivm a notorious sex cult.. "emmy award winning journalist elizabeth vargas through first hand insights of survivors the series lifts the veil of secrecy on groups such as the jehovah`s witnesses ,children of god ,twelve tribes ,and the survivors .by analyzing how the sects use their influence to manipulate and control.the series reveals the insidious and sophisticated psychological techniques used by the groups to wield influence over otherwise intelligent ,sceptical and sensible adults.
it sounds like a show i would like to see about the jw`s however i don`t subscribe to foxtel .maybe it will be shown on some other network.. has anybody from other parts of the world seen this show ?

2 guys and a gal deciding a female Muslims fate ,well at least that`s better than 3 guys deciding the fate of a female Jehovah`s Witness fate .
At least they have the semblance of impartiality .
But haven`t the Catholics and the Protestants had their own laws and judgement`s ,consequences etc,apart from the secular law of the land for Centuries ? That they have imposed on society ?

people were literally making comments about how to comment, it was very meta (not that most there would get that), anyway the main reason that wt gave to explain away people's lack of commenting?

How many faithful old JW`s are now living in Christendoms retirement homes not being cared for by the religion they gave their life for.
by smiddy3 init must be pointed out in favour of christendoms religions that they do not discriminate against people regarding their religious beliefs.
many old age jehovah`s witnesses are residents of christendoms age care homes.. isn`t this a conunudrum ?
they, jw`s condemn christendom as part of the world empire of false religion and they cast off their old faithful members to their enemy christendom , to look after them without lifting a finger themselves.. in the meantime they are raking in millions of dollars $$$$ in selling off real estate properties in new york and elsewhere around the world.

I agree with it for terminally ill patients that are suffering painfully and /or are going into a vegetable state where they will have no control over there bodily functions ,they should be able to end there life in a dignified way .

the bible teaches that god says "there is no saviour beside me".
therefore how is it, that the lord jesus christ is called the saviour of the world?.

Why is it that after 2000 years after the last books of the Bible were written it is imperfect infallible men/women who defend and explain what was written back then ,but we hear nothing ,not a peep out of God himself .
And there has been so much controversy over what this or that scripture actually means according to imperfect human beings and still God is silent .
And with all of the new state of the art technology we have today surely the creator of the universe could simply explain what his purpose is to ALL OF HUMANITY and not just a select few .?
He could state what he wants of humans utilizing the many forms of media ,print,digital,social,such as all that exist today ,radio ,Tv, etc,etc, .
Their is no excuse for GOD / JEHOVAH not to inform the people of the world what he requires of them by the technologies that are now available .
Instead of leaving it to a pathetic group who are still relying on 2000 year old tactics.
Is he prejudiced biased about certain races ?
