UK magazine (Womans own) JW abuse story +scan

and starts...... after being sexually abused for years by her father, alison cousins turned to her local church for help.
but she was turned away and told to keep quiet.

Many years ago I remember being in the bathroom at an assembly and a mother brought her two young boys in (about4 and 5 years old) and drop their pants and whipped them with a leather belt. I bet those kids are not in the 'truth' anymore. I remember a brother who would make his stepsons place their hands against the wall and stand with their butts way out so he didn't hit anything else when he whipped them. He bragged about it. Those boys are long gone from the 'truth' too. There was a lot of child abuse that went on in the name of discipline and sanctioned by the Borg. I think there were people attracted to the religion because it gave them the 'head of the household' right to abuse their families.

Any one here Know much about homeopathic med's?

I have used herbs and vitamins extensively but was never very successful with homeopathic remedies. My little grandson is teething and my daughter-in-law said nothing was helping. Someone told her about some homeopathic pills for teething. She was getting very little sleep so she gave it a try. She says it works great and the baby likes the pills. He is 19 months old and getting his molars. She is thrilled with the results.

"Homeschooled" Witness kids.

my son is 13; and i am his teacher (homeschooled).
interestingly, the father was only concerned that the kid wasnt paying attention at meetings!.

After 8th grade I home schooled my son. He was always getting sick and the doctor said he believed it was school related stress. He had learning difficulties and the teachers kept saying that he just wasn't trying. This led to him thinking he was stupid.
A parent has to be dedicated to make a success of home schooling. I saw some fail because the parents figured it was all up to the kid to do it on their own.
Anyhow, my son had his diploma at age 16 1/2. He went on to school and is a computer engineer and he and his wife have a very successful internet business too. They have a couple of little boys and are all XJWs. Happy ending. That is not always the case. It is great for some but not for everyone.

by bj inas ex jws, we all know that the life of a jw is very stressing which unfortunately lead many to heart attacks.
among those, are elders, and regular pioneers, etc.
at the moment two cases come to my memory: a regular pioneer who was also part of the translation staff in malta (helen massa,which is mentioned in the yearbook 2000, p. 125) she is still alive.

My husband had a heart attack at age 51 while a JW. But so did three of my brothers have heart attacks in their 50s and they have never been JWs. My father-in-law has had four heart attacks and he is not a JW, just an asshole.

JW's Offer Me A Plea Bargain.
by Englishman ini havent mentioned this before because, when it happened i was quite rattled.. there was a knock at the door a little while back, and who should be stood there but john dayment, the fella who used to be my dads assistant when he was po of weston super mare, back in the 60s.. he had with him another chappy, i think that his name was rod something, and they both launched into how good it would be to see me make my way back.
apparently they were both elders, and this was my once a year visit.
i was disinclined to be rude because my mum is still in contact with john hey, for all i know he might be my step-father one day!

I saw a one month deal once. An elder's younger sister who had dallied with her sister's husband wanted reinstatement. While the PO was out of town, the reinstatement hurriedly took place. 30 days. A piece of cake.
