Um I just found that site Watchtower observer by Kent. First off I thought it was really great, all the info there and so easy to to find. But when I got to the subliminal images part. Well I just don't see it. I have my book with me and I am trying to see it but I just don't I did see the face in Jesus' hair but only after I turned it upside down. If these images truly exist and are intentional what do the JW have to gain by doing this? Why would they put these pics there and wouldn't they put them right side up??? Just wondering peoples views.

Oh and I went to my first bible study meeting. It was fun they kept it real small and it was interesting. I guess thats the only new thing with me. Oh wait I was set up with a another JW to meet and it was a disaster I guess most brothers want the quiet submissive sister. oops I think my tats scared him. It was funny though.
I shared my story of when I lived in the ghetto they were in awe. Are all JW really that sheltered??? And virgins I mean really are the men 23 and still virgins is that possible??? -

Any good times?

i have read most of the posts and see that a lot of people were jw for years and years and was thinking that not all that time could things have been bad?
oh and somewhere in gen. it is supposed to state that we are living in the 7th day now????

Disfellowship?????????????????????

i'm a little confused i was told that the only way you can be disfellowshipped was if you did something you knew went agains jehovah and would not repent for it.
but the only person you can repent to is jehovah......... then i was told that the elders can however "keep the flock pure" b/c if jehovah is not happy with the congregation he can take his holy spirit away.

i'm a little confused i was told that the only way you can be disfellowshipped was if you did something you knew went agains jehovah and would not repent for it.
but the only person you can repent to is jehovah......... then i was told that the elders can however "keep the flock pure" b/c if jehovah is not happy with the congregation he can take his holy spirit away.

I thought you were supposed to repent with God not with the elders? That i what I was told and I believe there i a scripture to that effect I will have to look it up again. Why would someone go to the elders if they only had to go to God. That i what I am getting at what about the elders makes one feel that the only way the guilt will go away is to confess to them? Do they posess the Jedi mind power? :)

So I'm confused when do the elders get to step in and decide you are a threat to the congregation? And is it true that if you repent they can't disfellowship you?

wrong date part 2
by tattoogrl333 inwell i went for my study session today and showed her the encyclopedia articles i had printed up.
she said she didn't know why the date was 586 and not 607, and asked if she could take them to show her husband.
her husband is an elder so i'm not sure what his reaction was going to be.
