It's ironic that the JW's still claim that Barbour rejected the ransom given the fact that they are far closer to his view today than they are to Russell's

The ransom makes no sense
by BourneIdentity inif mankind needed to be redeemed from sin and death, why didn't the redemption happen as soon as jesus successfully lived his entire life without sin and sacrificed his life?
if he was successful, the price was paid and we'd all be living forever.
it's all bullshit, or jesus fucked up and sinned, so it nullified his sacrifice.

What is a sword if not a cutting instrument adapted for use as a weapon?
The problem is not the terminology. The problem is the introduction of the concept of weapons to humans.

Imagine if they were this diligent in trying to find vaccines for HIV...
An HIV vaccine is a horse of a different color altogether (Because it is a retro virus that stores a copy of itself in your T cells themselves.)
At any rate Moderna has successfully tested a vaccine for SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19)
The first run was only on a few people. The next will be on a few hundred. If all goes well, we could have a vaccine by the first half of next year.

Isn't it a little bit like sawing off the branch you're sitting on to cite projections based on the extraordinary measures we've taken as evidence that it was all simply fear-mongering by the media?

Waco Mini-Series on Netflix. Powerful and Scary.
by Simon inso we binge-watched the waco mini-series on netflix.. wow, what a powerful and enlightening programme!
even if you think you know what happened, it gives you extra context to it all.
it's very well done even if you just want a great drama series, but it's way more than that.. there are of course some dramatization and slight historical inaccuracies for the purpose of story-telling but it was very informative.

I remember spirited discussions right here on this site about the 90's era FBI and more specifically, the heavy handedness of the Clinton administration.

The A Conte, if I'm not mistaken was Anthony Conte, a quirky Circuit Servant in the late '60s / early '70s.

Its interesting that some of the "debunking" are just statements from the involved denying the statements...
I would agree that some of the argumentation does fall into that category, but there's more than enough documentation in science journals (Much of which was cited in the links I gave) to completely destroy the basic foundation of the Plandemic video.

The Great Crowd Fallacy
by Vanderhoven7 inthe great crowd of other sheep witnesses allegedly first began forming early on in the 20th century.
rutherford was totally unaware of this crowds existence until 1935. it was revealed to him in 1932 that the great crowd members were heaven-bound.
then light flashed from heaven in 1935 showing that this group was an earthly class.
-

It raises an interesting question:
Since it is the alleged proximity of the end that makes the identification of the great crowd possible, then why were they identified in 1935?
A JW can't simply say it was, "Jehovah's due time" or something to that effect, as that would mean that Jehovah himself doesn't know when the end is.

NPR, which is far more mainstream than either Kasprak or Willis recently fact checked the Plandemic video and found it misleading in some respects and downright false in others.
