Actualy non does indeed use the same line of reasoning, because non believes that an organization is as clearly demonstrated in the scriptures as a catholic believes that a holy trinity is demonstrated in the scriptures. Therefore you both make the same mistake because neither a trinity nor an organization is clearly defined in scripture.

i was able to digitize, and compress the entire dateline nbc show into the smallest file i could manage.

It's funny how the artist formerly known as Dunsscott now using the userid non_trias_theos is so quick to the keyboard whenever someone like hawkaw takes a potshot at the pedo WT policy. Notice how he once again says absolutely nothing, since most members of this board already know that some ex-jw's would support 'such a policy' and (perhaps) plenty of witnesses that do not support 'such a policy'. The problem is, the witnesses who do not support 'such a policy' aren't going to do anything but sit by and let the witnesses who do support 'such a policy' go to town on innocent children, because 'such a policy' prevents the former from being stopped. Hence the plenty of jws who 'detest and abhor' pdophilia's lack of a will to fight what they detest, and wait on God to straighten it out.

the intention of the media is to present the illusion of impartially informing, all the while pandering to prejudice and ignorance in order to persuade to a particular point of view.

datelines presentation of the watchtowers child abuse issue was a case study in the black art of media propaganda.. from the very beginning of the presentation dateline was intent on giving the public a negative impression of jehovahs witnesses by portraying us all as oddball crackpots whose religion revolves around the doctrine that we dont celebrate birthdays and that all non-believers are possessed by the devil and that we want them all to die.

I've got to admit that it is very clever to let the show air and not make any comments. The leaders are then free to pick the show apart and systematically form a rebuttal and feed it to the rank and file and general public to cover the damage done.
