  do you recognize that your congregation was full of somehowe strange folks, very low educated, poor and simple?.

  the po was an elder with some distance, with some personality acting intelligent and following the rules strict.. there was always a kind of scandal.

  the org has been tight-lipped, really, successfully secret about advance info on these in recent years,.

  now that these relatively recent changes on dress and grooming, reporting fs time, judicial matters, etc.

  My forecast:

  They stir the King of the North situation up.

  Russia will attack the holy place, Armageddon is imminent.

  Stay alert, keep on the watch, prepare for the great tribulation.

  And the new watchtower studio will open in 2028, if it has Jehovahs blessing! Isn't that great? Aplause!

  The society will plan a dramatic video serie "How to protect your children". What a provision from the Governing Body, isn't it? Big applause.

  The international conventions for 2032 are planned. Make plans to attend them. Locations are Hawai, Sydney and Vancouver. The contracted hotels will be a wonderful provision.

  There will be a part by a Governing body member "Brothers, stand firn in your congregation". It will be about stay in your congregation and in your country and not leave it because of war, or because of the political situation. Be prepared to take your part of persecution.

  i got an email notice today on this excellent letter of resignation from a german family that is trending on reddit.

  i thought i would share it here if anyone is so inclined to write one.

  for those with pimi jw family and jw business connections, it may not be wise to share such a letter, but i imagine it must be very freeing to send such a letter.

  here’s a cautionary tale for anyone counting on past ties with jehovah’s witnesses to dodge conscription: they’ll throw you under the bus faster than you can say “conscientious objector.” a man in ukraine learned this the hard way after refusing military service and hoping his old religious connections would save him.

  spoiler alert—they didn’t.

  The PO was an elder with some distance, with some personality acting intelligent and following the rules strict.

  There was always a kind of scandal. Someone went apostate, some became angry and split up from the congregation and some folks did a sin and the whole congregation knew what happend. Brother X did it with sister Y direct after the bookstudy, when we were all doing coffee and cake.

  Some weeks later it was all peace again and we went on if nothing happened.

  But my question is, do you recognize that in the 70's and 80's it was a poor flock with unique strange folks, and now they made progression to more education and better jobs, and more normal witness.

  Distrust

  since the begin of this millennium, when i became pimo on the way to pomo, i started higher education and made some promotion that lead to a higher management position.. i'm a regional manager now, acting in a management team and stakeholder manager.. in this position, we do intense feedback, coaching trajects et cetera, that goes under the waterline.

  a issue i have to deal with is distrust.

  i made an analyse of myself and found out that i don't trust the intentions of many of my stakeholders.. i want to do something about this, to become a better person and making further progression.. could it be jw upbringing related?
