Thanks for the welcome. I guess I am still considered pretty green by the 'Supreme' standards, and I will admit, I was a 'lurker' (as one put it) for some time before posting on this site.

Official "Welcome" to new members
by Simon injust wanted to say "welcome" to all the new people who have joined recently whether or not you've mustered up the courage to make your first post yet (it can be daunting).
glad you found us and decided to sign-up!.
i'm the tech guy behind the scenes so if you have any problems or questions then you can either email me (use the 'contact us' link at the bottom of each page) or post a question in the technical support area (unless your problem is that you can't post, lol) and someone will be able to help.. there are a lot of good people here and i'm sure you'll have fun as well as get some good answers.

Suggestions on a Jw uniform!!
by haujobbz ini mean cmon priests wear outfits so do nuns,archbishops,etc etc surely the jws could start there own fashion,i mean all the the sisters could make them in bethel im sure they would be very happy.so i wonder what uniform would suit a jw, "suggestions would be very nice".maybe something like darth vader wears

What are your careers?

having milled around this board for a little while, and getting to know the odd poster a tad better, one (at least i do) gets to wondering what some of you do for work.... i work installing custom hardwood flooring and ceramic tiles, with the odd wc renovation, and was going to start a career last year in avionics, but our friend osama put my plans on the backburner, until (or if) the canadian industry returns to normal.
i am considering going to university to further my photography skills, and am currently (and very slowly) working on a pictorial book that i hope to be published by the time i am 95. oh, and i devote 87643 hours of service to yhwh each month.. your turn.... .

i don't know what i wanna be when i grow up :P i'm leaving my job in two weeks, moving across the country and haven't lined up a job yet. i think i'll just waitress for awhile until i figure out what the hell i'm doing with my life. tossing around the idea of getting my teacher's license. or getting licensed as a massage therapist then going back for the teacher's license thing. gah! what to do, what to do? i know for sure i will not work in cubeland for the rest of my life.
Sounds like were doing the same thing. If I am really hard up for work after the move, I may resort to my other passion, teaching music, or, starting a lucrative marijuana growing operation in the Malahat mountain range in BC.

I am (avec girlfriend) planning on moving to Victoria by Nov.1, and will plan an Apostofest in Victoria...all you have to do is take the ferry from Seattle, and in 45 minutes, viola! I'll even be good enough to pick you up...just have signs at customs like FU-WTS or something easy to spot. More details when I get them...

Why don't you just teach her that everybody believes in something different, and that's ok. She'll come to her own conclusions in her own time, rather than having one force their beliefs on her at such a young and impressionable age.

Best and worst experience in your religion?
by haujobbz inill tell you my best experience in my belief was being totally drunk at my mates wedding surrounded by jehovahs witnesses who were trying to talk to me even though i didnt want to talk to them (and they were the ones who ignored me at meetings lol)and all i could do is smile at them because i couldnt understand what the hell they were speaking about,and i was so happy and they were so offended because i was pis~@d.
