  Why are they announcing 2019 conventions so early?

  i was just told there will be international conventions in canada in 2019. .

  so i looked at jw.org and i see that there's a whole bunch of conventions now listed on the site for 2019.. isn't this odd?

  normally we were told the location of conventions during the first week of january.. did they realize there was less in attendance in the 2018 conventions, and want to give ppl more time to make travel arrangements??

  They must be getting desperate, commercials cost money. I also heard an apostate talk where this was suggested, and this was shot down. They said if they ran programs, etc. the r & f would just sit and not preach. They don't want that.

  what is your opinion regarding sex before marriage, has your view been influenced since you left?

  in western society, you’ll probably find yourself ridiculed to be an 18 year old virgin so i am curious to hear opinions from here.

  The bible is a 2000 year old book, and was written before birth control, condoms and such. Homosexuality was wrong because God wanted to grow the nation of Israel.

  Nowadays, in western society, most people are not concerned with virginity and such.

  Bad teachings for kids

  during my time in the cult i sometimes sat during a talk thinking why on earth are they talking about topics like this with kids in the audience.

  talking about sex and masturbation was probably the worst one i heard and my daughter was only 5 at the time.. what inappropriate talks or comments have you heard over the years that children should not be exposed to really?.

  I remember an old couple in our hall concerned over the prohibition on oral sex, because they thought they meant speaking to each other during sex, such as "I love you" , etc. lol. Actual oral sex never entered their minds.

  I remember hearing about a sister who was waiting at a bus stop on her way to work. She was dragged into the bushes by a complete stranger and raped and severely beaten. I heard her husband was at her side in the hospital, the elders showed up with no concern for her, just to ask him if he forgave her for her "adultery". Sickening!

  when i was an elder back in the 1970's i loved to debate and challenge ministers, preachers, and holy rollers.

  now you can be a loyal jdub fully indoctrinated for 30 years but just take a peek at an apostate website and you are doomed.

  yes, satan now has you by the gonads and all of the years of being at the meetings, all of the family worship nights, all of the conventions, and all of the personal study just go up in a cloud of smoke.

  sorry i forgot to update when i was there.. the only things i want to talk about is how they would tell young ones to tell every body in school that their a jw.i hate when this happens this will not go well for all.they had one random video about some kid,the kid said the teacher would make fun of him,but one day the teacher let him talk about being a jw (this parts bs)then some random teachers and the principal walked in for no reason,and he got to talk about to most of the school wtf.. i hate the fact they tell kids to tell every body their a jw once again this will not go well for all..

  I was ashamed of being a jdub. I hated not saying the pledge of allegiance. Being in school sucked because I was forced to be a misfit who didn't fit in, hence my name, Biahi, it stands for Born In! Always Hated It.
