I am on the edge of a freak out ..... I think???

hey data dog i have always enjoyed your post and this one this one would be so so comical if it wasnt so true i can feel your pain, i look at my parents an consider them a lost cause same might be true of your wife, but your daughter is young please please hang in there dont let her childhood get stolen like so many of ours
You started a new job is it possible to relocate to another city with that job perhaps they have openings in other cities or at the very least a time schedule that interfers with meeting times.
In the meantime get a drink and relax i hate seeing someone's back against the wall because of this destructive cult

Being a JW Used to Be Fun :-)
by snowbird inwe found some people who were happy to welcome us into their homes, even offering us food and drink.. sometimes, they would flag us down and ask for the magazines, walk miles to the kh meetings, come to our defense if someone got ugly or rude.. now, jw's are either routinely ignored or outright vilified.. no one respects them anymore.. sad.. .

i would say the conventions at the capitol center in landover,md in the early 80s were fun seeing all your family and friends getting those food tickets to buy cheese danishes mmmmm the good ole days

Congregation rebels!
by A.proclaimer inmy congregation got a reminder today to start donating money.
elder said that after the letter on the new donation arrangement was read, the contributions for that fund went from the average (i believe it was $500 or so) to $0.
after that reminder, cash was put into those boxes.

Frozen and Sparlock the warrior wizard
by NewYork44M ingiven that magic is from satan, this is what we learned from the horrible story about the little boy and sparlock the warrior wizard.
i am curious to know if witness kids are allowed to see the movie frozen.
i am not a big disney fan, but this movie was wonderful.

i have an aunt that is in her 50s that can only watch rated g movies how sad is that.i hope this leads to a new policy that witnesses can't watch any type of movie that involves magic,sfi-fi,only any thing that isnt a documentry maybe by tightening the controls further on the rank and file this will cause others to wake up
By the way my elder father always owned and watched rated r movies but they draw the line at harry potter lol

Why do I bother to wake up in the morning?
by punkofnice ini'm not suicidal just fed up.. i did think of suicide (briefly), but as there is no painless way and it's not something i would willingly do just in case things would have been better the day after.
i do have a slight grain of hope.. money problems.....problems at home (that's another matter with a son up court for something he is adamant he didn't do.
first offence but the pigs police and the cps have got charges made.

hey punk i feel like this a lot of days indeed i didnt go to work yesterday or today because i felt this way.Birthdays will have this effect on me and you too i think, because we are reminded of the crap that we brought into in the org about never getting old and dying in this system of things.
I recommend getting a hobby to take your mind off the stresses of daily life.I play an online game world of warcraft for the past 8 years...it helps also i have taken up archery which i always wanted to do and at the age of 40...sigh i found i enjoy it.I enjoy your comments and advice also which has help me move to the view that im a deist/atheist depending on how i feel in the morning. The thing is you are not alone many here feel the way that you do i hope this feeling passes soon.
