  just told by a current jehovahs witness on the phone last night that another jw woman in australia recently (within the last month or so) refused a blood transfusion and died...i got no more details than that.... he also mentioned that canadian jw girl who refused a transfusion, the phillipines beheadings, georgia beatings and the sunday program!!!.

  his response on all this was (something like) "they're all just (another!

  ) attacks on jehovah's true earthly servants by satan...just another sign that we are deep in the last days...".

  I'll be posting more on this enlightening four and a half hour phone call (10pm Monday night to 2.30am this morning) with one of my old JW buddies within the next few days...be prepared for some howlers from this JW...

  just got a letter in the post from the south australian police minister.....he saw the sunday report and he's going to follow up on it and my letter..... i wouldn't call it a sucess yet put atleast the wheels are turning.... ak

  he said no but that he heard all about the silentlambs thing over here.. the word is out.... ak.

  i know broken rites is for the catholic church but it would be good if they knew about the silentlambs thing as they have gone thru the same stuff.. ak

  the old couple that was killed by martin bryant at the end of the port arthur massacre were a return visit (or were studying with the jw's) and that 2 jw's were walking on their way to visit them (get this...) they stopped for 5 minutes to witness to a man (supposedly this was setup by angels) or they had a doorstep study for 30 minutes and they were late (this story changes depending on who you ask...) anyway, they arrived later than they should of, only to find that martin bryant had killed the old couple and had burnt down their house and the police had arrested martin.

  the story goes that had they arrived any earlier they would of been killed by martin bryant.

  Shock encounter for the Apostle...

  i was waiting for a bus to get back to my house 3 days ago and guess who drove past in a car???

  the first jw i ever studied with and who got me in to "the truth" (he's the same age as me, 24) .

  he was driving a nissan sylvia (sports car...no-no 4 jw's) and he had his left eyebrow pierced.... i wonder what his story is??.

  It's a sign of materialism for JW's and plus you can't use it for transport for field service cos its (depending on car) got only 2 seats or if its got 4 seats, not enuff room.'

  about 2 weeks ago one of my old pioneer buddies came over for a visit (he's the only jw who doesn't shun me).

  i got talking about the whole naos in revelation 7:15 thing and we both started to have a debate over this.. i got out my copy of vines and showed him what it had to say about the greek word naos and he accepted it (i've shown this to 3 elders and they wont even look at the book!).

  i ask him if the word naos equals the temple sanctuary which signifies heaven in revelation, where are the great crowd serving in???

  I got out my copy of Vines and showed him what it had to say about the Greek word Naos and he accepted it (I've shown this to 3 elders and they wont even look at the book!).   He then responds with (something like) "their doing sacred service TOWARDS the Sanctuary".

  I reply with "read Rev 7:15 for me"

  He reads it for me. I asked him to slowly read the "doing sacred service IN THE temple (Gk Naos)" part of the verse.

  I asked him again where are they serving IN. I emphaisize the word "In".

  He replys with "their on earth and their doing sacred service TOWARD the sanctuary." at this point I start slowly chanting "IN! IN! IN!")

  This was going nowhere so I changed the subject.

  Anyone had any similar experiences??
