What's confusing about what I preach... what I teach?
You will find upon examination, that there are some serious similarities between what I teach, and the situation, the scenio of our spiritual brothers, Peter, James, John, the apostles, when they first encounted Jesus. Many similarities, they overcame, we can too...
Remember, the disciples, Peter, James and John, and the others, had spent their entire lives, under the tutorlage of the wicked Scribes, Pharisees, Sadduccees, Sanhedrin, as spiritual leaders of the nation. But, it came as a shock to them, to find out they had been actually "followers of men," obeying the "commandments of men," all the while, and not really giving Jehovah His pure, true worship that he requires. Thus, the whole nation of Israel, had "sinned," before God... And Jesus was saying, strangely to them, the holy people who carried God's Name at that, to repent, yes, they need to "repent," of their sins, thus, Jesus was sent.
So, instead of making "traversing sea and dry land to make one proselyte," ... and, whats worse, we teach the person wrongly, yes, wrongly, false doctrines like 1914... oh noooo... no... we get them on the wrong track, and now, we can't even straighten them out, now they are worshiping the WTS, and we ourselves, then find out that we, yes, we are the ones that need to repent... but this is what the disciples, had to hear from Jesus... this is what they had done too... just like us... made disciples for the Pharisees, "subjects of Gehenna, twice as much as themselves..." what a blow this must have been to them! -- See Matthew 23:15
Similarly... we today, as a nation of Jehovah's Witnesses, have "sinned" against JAH, by following the "man of lawlessness," while we were so busy going from door-to-door condemning everyone else, and applying all the "bad" scriptures and prophecies against Christendom. 2 Thess. 2:3-12
The WTS taught us well, how to be hypocrites... just like they were. Luke 6:40, shows, a "pupil cannot be greater than his teacher," ...
The WTS was the "teacher," and we were the "pupils," ...
so if the WTS does not know God, does not know what His Word actually means, how can we... how can we know either... According to that Scripture ... guess what ... we can't... it impossible.
So, we find similar likenesses in Jesus' ministry and our situation much like Peter, James and John, when they first encountered Jesus. It took time.... time.... time... to absorb the weight of the situation...
Jesus' message was very, very heavy... very weighty ...
My message is the same for JWs, and it is indeed, weighty ... very weighty.
So, the similarity... the same type of message, a message of "repentance," repentance on a national scale... yes that Jesus presented to the people, the nation of Israel, and the one I've presented to you brothers... before our God... Jehovah... repentance on a national scale... God wants this.
....we followed the WTS, and
... Peter, James and John, were too, followers of men, at least, before Jesus came, they too were followers of the Pharisees, the Sanhedrin ... same scenio ...
They had to repent... and guess what ... we do too.
...they thought they were righteous too... had no idea of what Jehovah thought of them, spiritually speaking... sheep "skinned and thrown about," ... that was their true spiritual condition to God. -- Matt. 9:36
...we are "sheep skinned and thrown about," ... are completely ignorant of JAH's real purposes for us... we can now sympathize with Peter and the disciples... we know how they felt... pitiful, pitable... people... we've been had... we've been used, just they were...
...and so with us, our only problem was, we thought we were "righteous people," too, just about to walk into the kingdom and boom... Jehovah reveals the "Truth," about the "Truth," its on the internet, its everywhere, overnight it seems, we are in a quandary, we should we do... then, here comes this Jesus-like message, something strange, foreign to our ears, something like we've never heard before, a different twist to scriptures, it seems, the same scriptures, we've read over and over before, but, taking on a totally different meaning, its different, we must ponder over it, absorb, pray over it, and when the full weight of it hits us... boom, it "rocks our world," .... turns it upside down...
But, if is from God, what can we say...
... JAH sat in heaven, and observed the whole scenio... He knew we were self-righteous as a nation...and decided to reveal the "truth" about the "truth," all of those "lies" we have been telling in His Glorious Name... 1914, and so on, not understanding 1st century parousia, the resurrection, and many, many important doctrines... we don't understand them properly... in fact... we don't even understand the Bible period... we know nothing about the Abrahamic Covenant... and the list is quite long, I assure you.... we are a long way from God...
and worst of all... we have been practicing "creature worship," turning in those stupid service reports and all... changing the dedications questions, and approving of such conduct by clapping at the Assemblies at every baptism... ... and on and on, ... whew!
But again, the brothers, the disciples, had the same situation, they had to regroup, be spiritually "restored," be "rejuvenated," be spiritually, regenerated... -- Matt. 19:28
You know, one man bows down to a tree, to another a cow is sacred, to another man, a group of like the G.B./WTS, can take on the appearance of a "god," and "show himself publicly to be a god," right in God's own Temple...
Whether we worship, tree, cow, man, or even Jesus Himself, yes, if we decide to put them AHEAD of Jehovah God in any way... guess what, we are worshiping the CREATION instead of the CREATOR...
Adam and Eve, put Satan ahead of God... creature worship... idolatry... they did obey him, in the end as a family, instead of JAH, did they not?
There is no difference... its idolatry right on, no difference. The WTS, yes, told us not to bow to a man-made flag, not to pledge our allegiance to this man made image of worship, and then, cleverly, claimed our allegiance, our devotion as a nation, for themselves...
Yes, we must back them, right or wrong, even against Jehovah Himself... we must trample on God's Word, the Bible, which tells us not to lie, but its alright, if the WTS does it... on the internet...their word, ahead of God's, we gain the WTS approval of us... and not God's... idolatry.
Satan knows what he is doing... he is an expert at getting God's People to go the wrong way... very successful...
He was successful with it in Jesus' day with the ancient nation of Israel, Peter, James and John, the disciples of Christ... and he is doing it again, with JWs worldwide... its creature worship. ...
...and yet, as much as these things infuriated JAH God, He could have wiped us all away... with one swipe... mercifully, yes JAH has revealed this ... shown us, JWS, how "skinned and thrown about," how used we have become, even FILTHY, because of "apostasy," filthy we are in His Sight....
Yes, God Himself sees all and revealed this to us... so that we can have time to "repent," ... Jesus' message... "repent, because the kingdom has drawn near ...same scenio, same message.
..sooooo, now the "shoe is on the other foot," because everything the WTS applied to Christendom, and Pagandom ... in the filthy WTS magazine, filthy books, and all, guess what ...applies us!
Again, in Jesus day' the people, were troubled by "demon possession," Jesus observed this...
Similarly, the WTS, and their thoroughly "demonized" literature, is so thoroughly wicked, so diabolically demonized ... the reality of this is so weighty...
Just like the PR comment on "former members," ... insidious... nefarious, wicked, devious...
Theocratic strategy....lying, deception ... just like their "father," the "father of the lie," "Satan." -- John 8:44
So...., now, just as we told the people, told them to repent, come out of "Babylon the Great," now, JAH wants to see a "contrite" spirit and a change in us, JWs, worldwide ... that's right... us ... now, we need to come out of "Babylon the Great," modern-day Jerusalem... and repent ...
We need to, quit looking at the other guy... but first, before we can straighten him out,
...before we can "get the straw out of our Baptist brother's eye, yes, we need to remove the RAFTER, out of our..."
Yes, we are "brothers," now with the Baptists, to God, since we are all idolaters... brothers in the practice of idolatry.
They practice idolatry,and so do we... it just that simple... They worship Jesus, and we worship the WTS ... now whats the difference in that...
Actually, they did choose a higher source, their aim is a little better than ours, the Baptists, Catholics, since they did aim for Jesus, a person higher than the one we chose, the WTS, this we did, so stupidly... :-)
JAH says we need to repent... get ourselves straightened out in heart and attitude, since we are the real culprits, we are the sinners, in God's eyes against Him ... since we were clearly following man-made commandments, made up by the wicked "man of lawlessness."
Perhaps, that could be considered "confusing," ... but I assure you, we will become "un-confused" before this whole scenio is over ... Jehovah is real good at getting "peace out of confusion." Real good. Time reveals and clears up many things... I've found.
And He is very good at getting results from people who have made a VOW to him, a nation that has vowed to Him, as we have in our dedication... As it says in gist, paraphrased to lighten the load...
'What you vow to God, please pay, for God has no pleasure in those who take lightly their vows.' We must pay what is owing to God. -- Eccl. 5:4
No scare tactics, the facts... we made the vow, now its time to "pay the piper."

Yes, in the first century, during his second "parousia," gathered those first century faithful, and took them to heaven...
No, Jesus at that time, did not return in the flesh... we are not saying that.
Keep in mind, all we are saying is that the official "second coming," the "second parousia," of Christ, as UNDERSTOOD BY FIRST CENTURY CHRISTIANS, would occur, they expected it, IN THEIR LIFETIMES...
That's how they understood the situation...
Again, when we speak of the "abyssing of Satan," and the destruction of all human governments, the resurrection of human dead, emptying the graves (sheal/hades) and ushering mankind in a 1,000 millenium of peace, all of these things, Jesus will did...no question about that ... but the first cehtury christians, considered this to be "THE END." .. That's THE END, and not his "second parousia."
That's the new angle, we as JWs, have not considered before...
The preterists, too, have not considered that factor too, with much confusion resulting, which gives the appearance that both viewpoints cannot be harmonized.
However, this is not the case.

That's "former," "former," "former."
Now, ask yourself, how does a person, a brother or sister, become a "former" member ... How does this happen?
He only becomes this, a "former" member, by WRITING A LETTER OF DISASSOCIATION from the organization of JWs?
That's How?
And that's the ONLY way too ... to become a "former" member, without being disfellowshiped. A fact.
You see, when a brother, ceases association, cuts all ties, goes home, or, ... simply wanders off, moves to a different town and no one knows him there, and thus disappears for years, then suddenly he is found... well ... then, in this case, he is not "shunned," no, no, no, and that is because he is still viewed as a CURRENT MEMBERand not a "former" member, but yes, a CURRENT member of the organization, who has become INACTIVE. An "Inactive" member, he has become now.
So, he is not shunned.
A JWs CANNOT become a "former" member by simply "ceasing association" with Jehovah's Witnesses ... and missing meeting, no, no, but he must write a letter (or perhaps join in some "activity" disapproved by the WTS wherein he "disassociates" himself by his conduct...)
Now, who knows this better than the WTS, the ones who posted this question, in the first place. :-)
But, a so-called "worldling," outside of the organization of JWs, does not know this... so they are fooled, as are many of JWs who are in complete stupefaction, still within the organization.
Brothers...please ... The WTS, PR Department, G.B. and company ... are practicing "Theocratic Strategy," Theocratic Lying ... yes, they are again openly, blatantly, brazenly, and unrepentantly LYING, pure and simple... another masterful deception perpetrated upon the world of outsiders who are supposedly inquiring of WTS policy at this Website.

How in the h*** can this be accomplished? It would take way past our lifetimes to reach all people with this message, if at all. I don't think it's possible. It would take an ad campaign like the world has never seen to reach all people. I'm not just talking in my lifetime, but possibly hundreds of years to garner enough support to be able to reach billions of people.

For instance, this time, you will start off with an "army" of supporters, some 200 million strong, to give assistance...to assist the "woman," once she comes out of her "tribulation," and out of the "wilderness" ... children will be given her...miraculously... many children...200 million children... -- Isa. 44:1-5; 49:18-21; Romans 11:25; Revelation 9:16
and, and, and, instead of you going to the people, in the door-to-door fashion...slow, methodical...miss one here, catch one there,... blah, blah, "man its hot out here... lets go home and watch the "game," mentality of sluggish JWs..
Jehovah God, the Almighty, will SEND THE PEOPLE TO YOU! That's send the people to you...

Let's notice Isa. 2:2, 3 which says:
"And it must occur in the final part of the days that the mountain of the house of Jehovah will be come firmly established above the top of the montains, and it will certainly be lifted up above the hills, and to it ALL THE NATIONS MUST STREAM. And many peoples [nations/Abrahamic Covenant people], will certainly go and say [to other Abrahamic Covenant people]: "Come, you people, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion law will go forth, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem."
The, Nations, yes all the nations ...must stream ...stream ...like water flowing ...stream to this particular mountain, because they will have heard about this wonderous message, from others... word will get out... the truth is finally here, for all to hear and experience... yes, they will hear about it...
And now, "they," yes, the "nations" themselves, Yes, the "peoples," the "nations," will indeed, join and help us out here ... now, all of a sudden, they are joining and helping to share the message...some those of the "Abrahamic Covenant" arrangement, will indeed, JOIN AND HELP too...
In other words, the united of worshipers of Jehovah will then GROW EXPONENTIALLY...
... thus, in a relatively short time...the message could indeed cover the earth...all 6 billion strong, even could be contacted ... if they too desire the "truth."
Revelation 22:17 shows the same thing... the "listeners," the Abrahamic Covenants listens will begin to join in and help spread the message, by says:
"And the spirit and the bride keep on saying: "Come! and let anyone hearing say: "Come" And let anyone thirsting come; let anyone that wishes take life's water free." -- Revelation 21:17
That's "anyone," "anyone hearing," can SAY, yes, SAY, INVITE by saying "come,".....
yes, "anyone, that is "thirsting," can say "come," yes,
"anyone that wishes"... that wishes... they can avail themselves of this most wonderous gift, free gift from Jehovah God...
Yes, they can indeed say, "come to the mountain of Jehovah," and yes, and lets Worship Him together! Praise Jah!
Yes, indeed, Life waters are FREE...for all, if they want it.
Zech. 8:20-22 says:
"This is what Jehovah of armies has said, "It will yet be that peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will come; and the inhabitants of one city will certainly go to those of another, saying "let us earnestly go to soften the face of Jehovah and to seek Jehovah of armies. I myself will go also. And many peoples and mighty nations will actually come to seek Jehovah of armies in Jerusalem and to soften the face of Jehovah [in repentance; to worship Him]. -- See also Micah 4:1, 2
There is also another "factor", the all-knowing factor of Jehovah God...
We remember, Jesus once said, that if "Tyre and Sidon," these NON WORSHIPERS of God had heard the same message that the ancient nation of Israel had heard... THEY WOULD HAVE REPENTED IN SACKCLOTH... -- Matt. 11:20, 21
Hmmmmm...
Soooo, Jehovah knows AHEAD OF TIME, who will repent EVEN BEFORE THEY ARE APPROACHED WITH THE MESSAGE... and also, who will not. Therefore, He can properly direct the "appropriate" repentant person to hear the message, at the "appropriate time,"...its all coordinated by God Himself... and as you know...
JEHOVAH'S HAND IS NOT SHORT...is it? :-)

THE BIG PICTURE

Two Questions...1) When do the 42 months begin?
I can answer that, but I would instantly be accused of "date-setting" as the WTS has repeatedly done...
and many may turn away from what I preach...
...suffice it to say, when you see the "Great War", as Jesus indicated, at Matt. 24:7, Rev. 6:4 and Daniel 10:1 (see NIV) the "42 months" of trampling the Bible speaks of, will be closely following, very close following, in its terrible, terrible aftermath...it will be "upon us," with hardly no time to breathe...remember those "horsemen" of Revelation 6...its coming...
Of course, in private and in confidence, I can go into "greater detail," with you my friend, OFF THE RECORD..on a personal basis...we do possess some "details" that I would not want to go into here...publicly.
What I confine myself to, is just the information we have recorded in print. I'm giving the abbreviated version here, but we do have the message in print. In our literature...we do not print any dates at all. So, I don't mention any here on this forum.
One thing that I will say about "time," though, since that has always been my most elusive element while learning this "message" of hope, ... I've learned that it can be used for or against the christian
...its like handling TNT or Nitro...the directions say: "Please handle with the utmost care..."
From Jehovah's perspective...it is sometimes the enemy of "faith,"...if know the time...it affects us differently...we just work toward a "certain date,"... but on the other hand... sometimes Jah will share something with us...that is very helpful, beneficial to know. I recall the words of the Psalmist, during a time of distress and great difficulty...he said:
"Our signs we have not seen; there is no prophet anymore, and there is no one with us KNOWING HOW LONG." -- Psalms 74:9
In other words, time..."no one knowing how long..."... no one knowing time...
We can be thankful, that we do know "time," because Jehovah has provided all of the answers for us in the "prophetic" books.
We remember Peter under inspiration did indeed make this statement:
"And all the prophets, in fact, from Samuel on and those in succession, just as many as have spoken, have also PLAINLY DECLARED THESE DAYS."-- Acts 3:23
Yes, Peter recognized that the "prophets," those particular men, had some serious "dealings," with Jehovah...He revealed to them things, things that they did not understand at that time...but it was meant for our time, the end of times, the "last days." They have "plainly declared these days," long before hand...plainly declared them.
But "time" are being too consumed with it...well...I've seen many cases, personally, where People stumble very quickly when "time" and knowing "time," eludes them. Or, things don't happen when exactly expected...
Even Jesus said things, in reference to timing certain matters, and that big "when" question, he said the father didn't even tell him about WHEN either...on certain things that would happen...and that's Jesus...so Jehovah is quite particular...He keeps some things, some "particulars" of time, in His own "jurisdiction." -- Acts 1:7
Kind of like Deut. 29:29...the things "concealed" belong to JAH, and the things revealed belong to us...
...but, we do know some "details," that I will not share on this board publicly...but will discuss in confidence with you, by way of e-mail, if you like...
One thing that I can say is this:
There is going to be 2 distinct periods, each divided off as 3 1/2 years apiece...running back to back...
(a)One period, we will call the "1,260" and
(b)The other we will call the "42 month" period.
They combine to make a total of 7 years...interesting.
The first period, we call the "1,260 days" of prophesying of the "Two Witnesses," spoken of in Revelation 11:3. This is the activity of the "reformers," and their efforts of "reform" at the kingdom hall which will continue to greatly intensify, as we go along here in time...
They will attempt to "reform" the entire organization of JWs worldwide...they are organized to accomplish this...They feel that God is behind them...we are in that period...right now, and have been in it for sometime now!
Of course, we know, their "reform" efforts, will not be completely successiveful. However, unbeknowst to them, their "reform," efforts will generate an unprecented internal struggle, a break-away movement among JWs that will lead to the "birth" of the "Male Child," a group of individuals who will form a modern-day "Judah/Levi" Two-Tribe spiritual kingdom, that will exist apart from the main "Ten-Tribe kingdom" arrangement for several years.
The Bible speaks of this situation prophetically as the dividing of the "stick of Judah," and the "stick of Ephraim," or "Jacob." Real animosity will develop between these two groups, where JAH's Name will "two" instead of "one," as it should be. Two groups carrying that name. -- See Isaiah 11:12, 13; Ezekiel 37:15-23; Zech. 14:9
We remember, the separation of ancient "Israel" back when King Saul died, and the great separation between "families" developed, and David was called upon to rule at Hebron for 7 1/2 years...a great separation in "Israel," a internal struggle...a "civil war," even...the same situation prophetically in our day. We have to wonder and marvel at the tremendous HARMONY of the scriptures, prophetically speaking, when we see how Jehovah has worked all things out, in His infinite brilliance, and intelligence...mind-boggling...indeed...Praise Jah!
Revelation 10:7 actually tells us that the "mystery [greek "mysterion"] of the kingdom good news" is to be found in the prophets...their words...in the OLD TESTAMENT...the old "prophets." Amazing!
You see, the prophetic books, is where Jehovah HID ALL OF THE MYSTERIES of the scripture, of the kingdom...practically all of them are to be found there
we know that now, after years of study, away from the WTS...
...Amos, Joel, Micah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and on and on...That's where the answer is!
That great separation will occur, and coincide with the conclusion of the "Great War," where, as the people say..."all H*ll will break loose..." upon JWs worldwide! This is because, the organization will then, suffer a serious split, a separation, of two separate "kingdoms," a 2-tribe and 10-tribe situation, all over again..The "woman," who is forced away from the "face of the dragon," and sent to the wilderness, as the larger 10 Tribe-group, and the "male child," ex-reformers who are "taken up to heaven," spiritually speaking, and organized into a separate entity of their own...the "kingly/Priestly" group, the powerful Davidic "Two Tribe" group ... this will be a smaller group but...but... packed with dynamite and fire group...a group of real fighters...kind of like you guys...but not quite up your spiritual status...they are not there yet...you guys are ahead of them, all the way...in God's eyes... now that prophetically speaking of course...the books of the prophets. :-)
...and in accordance with that statement, JAH has something stored up for you guys, that is almost beyond human expression...almost but not quite...
2) In view of all this is there anything I need to do?
Yes. Jehovah God does require something ... something very, very, very, important.
We recognize something that has occurred to us, up at the "kingdom hall." Something has happened, that has Jehovah God, very concerned about us. But, I'll let the Bible do the talking here...
Remember I, mentioned Ezekiel 37:23 up above and the dividing of "Israel," into two distinct groups... well, I'm going to quote that last verse...
"And they will no longer defile themselves with their dungy idols and with their disgusting things and with all their transgressions; and I shall certainly save them from all their DWELLING PLACES." -- Ezekiel 37:23
"all their dwelling places..." hmmmmm. I thought when I first read this, after leaving WTS land, what does this mean...?
Well, if we look down at the footnote in the large print Ref Bible...we something else mentioned...it could have been translated as something else...

Jehovah said that He would "save us from" all of our "acts of lawlessness," or "apostasies," that we have committed.
Now, this is not a personal attack on any one, for JWs, are indeed, and will be able, when "restored" able to assist the entire earth, with the administration of the Abrahamic Covenant. And those who will be helped by means of that arrangement...surely can't point the finger and talk or revile us...no, no, no.
But, Israel, among ourselves, ... we know we sinned against Jehovah...as a nation, as a people...we have sinned. Daniel words can speak here best for us...
"O Jehovah, to us belongs the shame of face, toour kings, toour princes and toour forefathers, because WE HAVE SINNED against you." -- Daniel 9:8
Yes, Daniel included himself in this National -sinning process... repentance ... from National Sin... repentance from "community guilt," guilt by association even, ... guilt. Daniel said, "we have sinned..." yes as a nation before Jehovah.
And thus, we allow Jehovah to do as he said he was going to do above... "save us," from these "apostasies," and "acts of lawlessness", that we all practiced...
...we all turned in field service time... all did it ... we were there when they changed the dedications questions ... some of us continued to clap at every baptism after that 1985 date ... even with the questions changed...
community guilt... national guilt... we come face to face with this and "let Jehovah save us," ...turn around and repent, and experience "seasons of refreshing from the face of Jehovah." - Acts 3:19
The "man of lawlessness" is not "revealed" as of yet...but we know who he is... we know. The G.B., that's who. And this "lawless" fellow, actually led the whole, entire nation of Jehovah's Witnesses into, guess what... "lawlessness," or "apostasy." The was the "god" before Jehovah face...thou shalt not have no god before my face...the breaking of the first 1st commandment even... this we did, as a nation.
Thus, the need for spiritual "restoration," "recuperation," rejuvenation," spiritual "renovation," a Greek word: a "palingenesiai;" in latin, a regeneratione,... a make over completely...-- See Matt. 19:28 footnote large print Ref. Bible

...yes, Jerusalem, the city that was called by God's Personal Name...had become all of these wicked places, it had become that way...filthy, oppressive, evil, like the city that impaled Jesus...just like the filthy, oppressive WTS and modern-day wicked "Sanhedrin," that sentenced Jesus to death...the modern-day Governing Body arrangement...an illegal scriptural arrangement. -- See Luke 4: 18, 19; Revelation 11:8
Atonement must be made for us as a nation, spiritually speaking... something serious must be done.
After that,
Jesus said,
"the harvest is great, but the workers are few..."
We need brothers, teachers, to help and assist...think of it as being in a position to help millions, yes billions of people, before this whole scenio is over...that is your privilege...if you want it...The Abrahamic Covenant...helping there too.
Isa. 2:5,6 describes it this way:
"O men of the house of Jacob, come and let us walk in the light of Jehovah. For you have forsaken your people, the house of Jacob. For they have become full of what is from the East (as in Babylon), and they are practicers of magic like the Philistines, and with the children of foreigners **they abound.**"

Yes, the "men of the house of Jacob," have "forsaken their people," who??? Again, the "house of Jacob."
Prophetically, Jehovah God, has spoken of this "split," this separation, the "men of the house of Jacob", will indeed LEAVE, FORSAKE, "their own people," their "brothers," leave them, the "house of Jacob," their spiritual Israelite brothers...why?
Because they have become filthy, practicers of all kinds of filthy, ungodly things...and eventually, make the wrong kind of "associations," political alliances that always, as we remember, infuriated the of Israel...Jehovah.

Part II. (Continued Discussion)Jehovah's Witnesses -- Active Practicers of Idolatry and Creature Worship
Jehovah's Witnesses have long practiced idolatry and various forms of "creature worship," now for many years. Although the WTS teaches and has stated many times in their publications that the world in general, by way of such things as "birthday" celebrations, christmas, and other annual events, actually eulogize and extol great glory upon man, the individual himself, and thus, by way of whats known as "creature worship," practice wholesale IDOLATRY!
That's what they teach. However, upon closer examination, we find the JWs do the same thing in reference to the WTS and their leadership. This is a proven fact, that can be easily established for us, in this year now of 2,000.
We recall, JWs are indeed taught and are fully aware of what the Bible teaches about following the "commandments" and "traditions of men," and how the God of the Bible, feels about these things. They quickly point out to members of other religions that the "commandments of men," and the following of the "traditions of man," an an overt act of "idolatry," and "creature worship," since one has overstepped the very Commandment of God's Word, as found in the Bible, and REPLACED it with "man's command," thus rescinding God's Word, the real force of it...thus it becomes a heinous ACT OF IDOLATRY. -- See Matt. 15:9
But, JWs themselves, are often asked to participated in this heinous practice on a "daily basis," everyday in their worship of God...such conduct on a regular basis, practiced year in and year out, and nothing is ever said about. It is "accepted" as a "godly practice", though it is not taught directly in scripture, and even labeled in many instances A REQUIREMENT FOR LIFE, thus forced upon the novice, or newcomer in the organization...the newly baptized disciple for the Jehovah's Witnesses organization.
EXAMPLES:
1. COUNTING TIME. Count all of the literature, books, magazines, hours, return visits, and bible studies each month and make a written record and REPORT it to the Headquarters Staff at Brooklyn Bethel each and every month. Further, each publisher, that's 5-6 million JWs, are REQUIRED TO DO THIS WORLDWIDE! It is a "commandment of men"...pure and simple.
Mark 7:7-9 says:
"It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach as doctrines COMMANDS OF MEN. Letting go the commandment of God, you hold fast the tradition of men." Further, he went on to say to then: Adroiltly you set aside the commandment of God in order to retain Your tradition."
COUNTING & REPORTING TIME and Keeping Records of it, a unique practice of JWs, actually fits this scenio perfectly.
Jesus taught, when it comes to good works, and the giving of "gifts of mercy" -- ...
'take care NOT TO PRACTICE YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IN FRONT OF MEN...do not let the left hand know what the right hand is doing...do your good works in SECRET, and your heavenly father, who is looking on in secret, will reward you also in SECRET.' -- [paraphrased, gist] Matt. 6:1-4
This "commandment" of "counting and reporting time, a longstanding practice of Jehovah's Witnesses, is no where to be found in the Bible itself. First century christians did no such things at all. It is a "commandment" of the WTS! A "commandment of men."
Thus, idolatry..."creature worship!"
2. THEOCRATIC STRATEGY/LYING -- THE 1914 TEACHING:
It has been long taught, by the WTS Headquarters staff, and in the printed publications, that JWs can indeed "lie" or tell total "untruths" to those "who are not deserving" of an honest answer. This has been practiced in courts in the legal system, and is a common practice today, as indicated by the outright duplicity demonstrated in the "Bulgarian/Blood" situation. This is an established fact.
This has been established procedure for many years now, as can be attested to by reviewing information found in the "Aid to Bible Understanding" and "Insight on Scriptures" publications on the subject of a "Lie." A clear definition of it is given, and gives the basis for what is called "theocratic strategy," wherein the WTS will clearly TELL OUTRIGHT UNTRUTHS to the government officials, and persons of high rank within the government, when it conflicts with ideals, goals and aspirations of the WTS. The also teach their membership to do the same when so confronted.
Jesus said all forms of "lying" comes Satan the Devil." -- See John 8:44
Jesus also promised that "all those lying," "LIKING and CARRYING ON A LIE"... will be given over the total destruction of in the "Lake of Fire," which means the "second death." -- See Rev. 21:8, 22:15
PLEASE NOTE: Also, the "carrying on of a lie", as maintained by WTS and Headquarters staff, can also be seen in the constant and persistent teaching of "1914" Doctrine, which unquestionably is an outright ruse, fable, or "artfully contrived false story," -- a bold face "lie," perpetrated by the WTS upon the world for over 120 years, which cannot be proven from the Holy Scriptures of God! -- 2 Peter 1:16
However, first century Christians can NOT be charged as having taught, any such foolish thing. They have no such Gigantic "Lie", false teaching to their credit, that has been perpetrated over such a long period of time, and finally done in such a totally unrepentant manner as by the WTS.
The date of 1914 CANNOT be substantiated within the Bible, the Bible does not even mention any such "date" associated the kingship of Jesus Christ. It is not taught in Scripture...this is a "man-made" concoction...a "commandment of men."
One cannot be baptized, nor accepted as one of Jehovah's Witnesses even today, unless he ACCEPTS this teaching by the WTS, as coming from God...even today.

3. COLLEGE EDUCATION/HIGHER LEARNING:
The WTS has taught for many years that the attending of college was a BAD THING...and discouraged tens of thousands from attending a university of any sorts, of higher learning, and gaining a college degree.
To attest to the factualness of this occurence, today, almost all of the Circuit, District, Branch Personnel, Missionaries, Governing Body members, present today, who did not have this opportunity before becoming Jehovah's Witnesses, WILL HAVE TO ADMIT WHEN QUESTIONED, that they are thus, in this most pitiful, pitiable, pennyless, deplorable condition today, all because of "man-made" indoctrination heaped upon them by WTS headquarters staff. Yes, ALL ARE WITHOUT COLLEGE EDUCATION to this day because of this "man-made," human reasoning concoction, "commandment of men," that is clearly not taught in the Scriptures, God's Word. A Fact!
Now, it is totally appropriate and proper for a JW to go to college, if he so chooses. But not so, a few years ago. It was a "sin" to go to college, a few years ago, as taught by the WTS.
...a "commandment of men."
Today, we know, the Bible does not teach nor speak on such a matter about attending a university of higher learning.
But yet, over the past many years, the WTS has enforced this "commandment of men," and even insisted upon making this an "unstated rule" by frequently withholding privileges of responsibility to any who pursued a college education, despite their warnings, privileges that could be held within the organization. This is a fact.
All brothers and sisters in Special Services in the organization today, Special Pioneers, Missionaries, Travelling Overseers, Bethel personnel, all KNOW THIS to be a FACT..and can attest to this to be the situation, the situation, since their very lifes, present state of affairs, actually speaks for them!
They are "uneducated" as a group of people, many in their late 50s, 60s, 70s, and above.
Ask them why, they didn't go to college, and see if the "answer" is not unanimously linked to "counsel" from "Mother Bethel.
"Commandments of men,"...idolatry.
4. THE INSIDOUS "DOCTRINE" OF 1975, THE "END," AND THE "APPROPRIATE TIME FOR GOD TO ACT" TEACHING:
Many JWs are perfectly aware of the 1975 teaching and the detrimental effects this had upon many associated with the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses. Long before this year, the WTS began pointing forward to this year as the end of 6,000 years of man's existence and the appropriate closeness of the Millenial reign of Jesus Christ, and the dismantling of human governments upon earth.
Particularly, in the latter years, nearing this year, around 1968, years before, the WTS made an urgent push, using many of the Travelling overseers present today, fully emphasize the nearness of the end, especially with the release of the "Truth" book, which today numbers better than 100 million copies distributed worldwide.
With the release of this particular book, it was told to all JWs that a 6-month Bible study program should be implemented...wherein if any person did not show SUFFICIENT interest in the literature or the study, the Bible Student and His Study, SHOULD BE DROPPED IMMEDIATELY! No need to study any further with the individual...no need to tarry...drop the study...the end was too near.
This is a fact!
Many, began to sell their homes, sell their businesses...because the "commandment of men," the WTS, told them the "time was too short."
The "Kingdom Ministry" once printed an article COMMENDING individuals, who had sold their homes and businesses and "moved to serve where the need was greater" ... all because of sensing the nearness of the end and the year of 1975.
Many of us remember these years. In fact, the "Freedom of the Sons of God" release of the mid 1960's actually pointed out about how "appropriate" it would be, to match and coincide the end of 6,000 years of human existence, as of 1975, with the "Millenial rule" of Jesus Christ, and removal of all human governments! This is fact...a printed fact.
The count for baptimal candidates soared...over 300,000 baptised in one year...just before 1975...bringing the total number JWs to over 2 million by the mid-seventies. Kingdom Halls were swelling up everywhere...particularly in the U.S.
Yes, this man-made teaching had affected the lives of many...because 1975 came and went...and nothing happened.
Many became disgruntled...many left the organization. The WTS claimed it never intimated or taught such a thing for many years after that. They wondered at the lack of faith of those who had left.
UPDATE ON THE 1914 DOCTRINE: Within five years from that fateful date, a major break-up at Brooklyn Bethel, its 1980, with several key members of the Bethel staff, Writing Department, a G.B. member, translator...put out of Bethel and, yes bannished, disfellowshiped. ...everybody is in COMPLETE DENIAL...G.B., Bethel Staff...denial of false prophesying over the date of 1975...
They said:
"we never said anything about 1975 bring the end...the friends fabricated it ..." ... this attitude now present at Bethel. Many, many traveling overseers and elders carry on the farce too... "The WTS never really said...never really pushed, the date of 1975 ..." they claim. The friends "ran ahead" of the organization and pushed it...The "friends" are guilty...
But now, serious students of scripture, internally, within the Headquarter Staff, now discover many doctrinal inconsistencies which exposes the falsity of the teaching of 1914 included with the 607 date being confronted, challenged and revealed as false. This info finds its way to the Governing Body because of claims of "apostasy," on the part of Bethel personnel ...
The trial begans, the info is presented to the Governing Body ... but the charge is still "apostasy," the bible has nothing to do with this situation since it conflicts with previous longstanding teachings of the organization ...
...but the real evidence, uncovered by RV Franz and E. Dunlap is revealed, uncovered ...
... and this is in the face of the fact Carl O. Jonnson, after 7 years of serious Study and investigation toward the date of 607 BCE (1968-1975), had now decided to submit his "findings," critical information to the Bethel family in the year of 1977.
His "findings" simply destroyed the 607 chronology ... revealed the falsity of the date of 1914, and inadvertently as a by-product, questions the "appointment" of the presumed "Faithful & Discreet Slave" as being the WTS.
This information presented previously to the WTS and G.B., in their hands since 1977.
... three years later,
... in 1980, there is more evidence...more confirmation, its all backed up by serious Bethel Bible Scholars...their "findings" substantiate by now, the then, "persecuted" JW Carl Jonnson's work, concerning the date of 607 as the date of Jerusalem's destruction... that date is FALSE... no question about it.
...all of this info placed before the Governing Body, ...but its all coming together now...coming to a head...
QUESTION: Are the Governing Body real "Lovers of Truth," or of man-made traditions and teachings...which?
The Result: They are tried, convicted and sentenced... with All 8 Bethel family members, dismissed from Bethel...lifelong careers of service, thrown away,
...they are "martyred," as was Carl O. Jonnson (2 years later) ... ALL ARE DISFELLOWSHIPED ... bannished from the organization...G.B. member RV Franz, thrown out a little later on new trumped up false charges...!
(Carl O. Jonnson was regrettably disfellowshiped two (2) years later, ... in the year of 1982.)
The blood of those men...poured out as nothing!
This is our history, Jehovah's Witnesses...we must accept this and live with it...Jehovah God is the Witness and so is Jesus Christ...
But now, we must go back to the 1975 fiasco...
Maybe some new ones would say,
"No, no, the WTS never actually taught or said anything SPECIFIC about 1975, not directly anyway...the brothers made the whole thing up...we never said the end was coming...they never even INFERRED IT...no, no..."
But, ask yourself, was it in fact, a man-made teaching, or not? And, from where did it originate...who thought up the idea, the WTS or the brothers? Which?
Ask also, is this date, this "teaching," in the printed publications, highlighted by the WTS?
Is there really, printed evidence of this situation...is there?
Five more years later, the year is now, 1985...
5. THE CHANGE IN THE DEDICATION QUESTIONS IN THE BAPTISM CEREMONIES OF ALL JWS WORLDWIDE:
Question #2 used to state:
"On the basis of this faith in God and in his provision for redemption have you dedicated yourself unreservedly to Jehovah God, to do his will henceforth as that will is revealed to you through Christ Jesus and through God's Word as His Holy Spirit makes it plain?" (See Wt 1970 pg. 309 par. 20)
New Question #2 (the more improved version)
"Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's witnesses in association with God's spirit-directed organization?" (See 6/1/85 Wt. pg. 30 par. 3,4)
In the new improved question, you are no longer directed by (a) Christ Jesus, (b) The Bible and the leadings of the (c) "holy spirit," of God.
Did you know that?
So, how are JWs now led...how?
Well, JWs can no longer make the claim they are led by Jesus, the Holy spirit and the bible, no, no, because of the change, yes...since the year of 1985, since they are NOW DIRECTED by the "organization," the "spirit-directed organization," WHICH TAKES THE PLACE of (a) Jesus Christ, (b)The Bible and the leadings of the (c) Holy Spirit of God.
Which Questions posed to the baptismal is MORE BIBLE BASED...which? Which one is a "commandment of men," which?
I think we can answer that one.
Well, that's the improvement of the questions in 1985, five years after the "Bethel Breakup", and 10 years after the "1975 teaching," perpetrated by the "spirit-directed organization," Headquartered in Brooklyn New York. That's the change, that's the improvement.
Yes, these are proven "commandments of men," "traditions of men," yes idolatry, "creature worship" all accepted and practiced by JWs, and the WTS. All neatly, swept "under the rug," and dismissed as "never, ever happening at all." They never made any such changes in their "dedication" ceremonies...this never happened, or it is of "little consequence," to them. Yes, they are free from any involvement of "creature worship," idolatry, worship of man, and his traditions.
This is our history, Jehovah's witnesses, our legacy...our voluntary part, in obeying the "commandments of men." Placing the teachings of man ahead of Jehovah God and all that is righteous and true...
The evidence is before us...
Our willing part in "creature worship," idolatry. The worship of man/organization over God. The worship of the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses over Jehovah God Himself...The rival "god" of Jehovah in His Own Temple...the "man of lawlessness." -- 2 Thess. 3-12
Jehovah has said:
"Thou Shalt Have No Other God Before My Face." ... Do we see a serious problem here affecting christians, modern-day christians practicing who have willingly...even unwittingly practiced idolatry and creature worship...do we?
Paul warned christians of the first century:
"...If I were yet pleasing men, I would not be Christ's slave..." -- Galatians 1:10
Do we notice a problem here for those followers of Christ, that have practiced idolatry...?
