Mr impossible Japanese - why don't you try to shut up at times, in stead of always whining about being insulted? You might find it - refreshingly new!

"That he/Furuli is friendly does not prove that he is right as a JW. "
I never implied that, I was merely adding a couple of lines as to him as a person. And that a Japanese who knows nothing about him, does his name-calling, "slicker" etc., is out of place. He is the one he is, and is no slicker. As for "professor", I meant it in the general term, teacher at a university, I think "associate professor" or "senior lecturer" is the equivallent in US. In Spanish-speaking countries, "professor" can be used for any teacher. Why he is no part of a Bible transaltion team in his homeland is nothing strange, as it is directed by the Lutheran Church of that country and he never would have or could have a part in a work directed by another church. He has published valuable books on Hebrew grammar and the bias of Bible translating work. Also on the 607 question, but I think one should be able to have two lines of thought in one's head at the same time, and see that the Hebrew studies are one thing, the theological ones another.

"trabelled" in the first line of course is meant to be "travelled" as in what a DO does.

But itsibity etc.: He never trabelled, he never was a DO, he has constantly been a pioneer in his congregation, and has been widely used at conventions, but has never travelled. He started teaching himself Hebrew while working, and then entered University and ended up a professor. His scholarly work deals with a new understanding of the time frame of the verbs, how they are used in texts including Bible texts (when are they to be understood as relating to the past, present or future etc.). He is a very friendly person.

New Ex-JW Documentary To Be Released
by discreetslave inabout filmtruth be told is a feature length documentary that explores the lives of several individuals raised in the jehovahs witnesses religion.
the title of the film refers to the tendency by jehovahs witnesses to regard their beliefs exclusively as the truth.. the documentary is not an indictment of religion but rather a retrospective.
in a series of informal interviews, former jehovahs witnesses discuss life experiences within the organization including the impact the religion had on their childhood and family, schooling, adolescence, and approaches to dating and marriage.

"The examples given aren't really extreme enough to register a response."
So if reality is not extreme enough, one would have to invent things in order to raise the interest of the audience?

None of this was covered here. But that aside, one thing I never understood, was why one should not associate with "weak" ones. 'Cause that way, the weak would only grow weaker, as there were only other weak ones with whom to associate. Strong with strong and weak with weak. Resulting in two groups, one strong - and one weak, that could have grown strong if only the strong ones had associated with them.......

How are you able to find a January illustration when the latest magazine issues published on the Internet are the December issues?

For those still "in" the W.T , a Moral Question.
by wobble infor those who are still in the jw/wt religion for whatever reason , and to whatever extent, i ask :.
how high would you rate your moral standards ?.
where do you stand on telling lies, upholding truth, deceiving others etc ?.

"Please do not view this topic as an attack on you personally, I am simply trying to get in to the mind and heart of those who stay in a religion they know to be false and a killer."
Well, if one stays in a religion while knowing it to be false and a killer, then one has no moral at all and is not the person to ask a moral question.
