Financial Help.

hit my posting limit and am using my second account..... i don't know if anyone can help or not.. but i am in a desprate situation whereas i have to swallow my pride and seek out some help.. i am behind rent as well as my morgage ( i own a moble home on a lot rent).. need food as well.. phone needs to stay in service since i am deaf and need it as part my text communication for hopes of landing a better job.

sister can email me to let me know if a employer calls, so i can drive over and find out what's up from there.. i work at wal-mart and alot of us have our hours cut to 20+ hrs a week, so this is hurting me fianacially.. job hunts is hard since i am deaf since most employers seems to prefer hiring a hearing person.. i know of a deaf friend who is unemployed and he went thru 20 job interviews in a month.

none of them ever called or emailed him to say he got a job.. family can't help since they all have their own problems to deal with.. i can post all the info you need if anyone needs it, such as my landlord's address and my morgage address if anyone wants to mail a check directly to them.

What the hell is your problem with Gary? He can't possibly have had anything to do with you in the last 7 months at least. Oh wait, he's never done anything to you personally anyway, has he? Your entire opinion of him is based entirely on the hearsay of one bitter, emotional person...or perhaps one other who also "knows" things second hand? What happened to your critical thinking skills?

If you think this Yizu person is Gary, you are sadly mistaken. And if you are going to continue believing things about someone based on hearsay, then I guess I could do that regarding you. According to some people...you're the biggest moocher who ever lived. That is true...one or two others have said that to me about you. Should I go around on this board screaming about how you're the biggest moocher, scammer, liar etc....that I've ever known? No. Do you know why? One thing I learned from my experiences as a Dub is, Don't believe something just because someone tells you it is the truth! I thought you had that one down too. Guess I was wrong.

november 26 was my birthday.

i missed having people say happy birthday like they do when they know someone here is another year older.. minimus started a thread a while back, when i was here for a few days, about what this board means and if you thought the people here were your friends.

i've been here a while, and have told some of my stories to you, but i haven't been totally honest.

Suicidal fear of rejection.

the fear of rejection has once again controlled my life and my actions in an unintentional act of self destruction brought on by how i was raised to view life.

i have come to the conclusion that i will probably be battling this psychological whirlpool of self sabotage for the rest of my life and i do not think i have the ability to completely eliminate it.

talking about it here is a start.

You've given so much support to people here, it is only fitting that you receive some yourself.

I can relate to so much of what you so beautifully stated. You have such a gift with words. I would bet if you just printed that out and gave it to her, it might go a long way to at least salvaging your friendship.

I don't have any magic cures for you. I think it's a frigging miracle that some of us are as sane and stable as we are. I am one of those wierd people who was just born with a good disposition...so even when someone rejects me, and it hurts like hell....I end up thinking they're the ones who are losing out. And I really believe it, deep down inside. I guess I have a healthy self esteem. I just think I am as good as anyone else out there...and I think the same is true for each and every one of us. What makes someone else any better than me? Nothing. I am perfectly me...just as you are perfectly you.

I hope that putting your thoughts down to see...getting it out and touching it and feeling it...will remove some of the mystery and help you to really overcome it once and for all. Stop repressing all that shit man....it'll kill you! I sincerely believe that I owe my mental health and happiness today to finally finding a relationship where I am totally accepted for who I am, and I could finally let all my walls down. It takes an incredible amount of energy to keep those walls up. Energy you could be spending on other things. Take some more risks...it couldn't get any worse, right? All fears boil down to fear of the unknown...so face it and then it's no longer unknown and scary. It's just one more thing that a tough guy like you can handle any day!!!

Having had the undeniable pleasure of meeting you in person, I can honestly say your humility regarding your education is not necessary. You are very reasonable and eloquent. I found your opinion of the JW's to be an excellent observation, well thought out and expressed.

I agree with you that those who are attracted to it have something lacking in their lives, whether it be as simple as self esteem, or as complex as an unreasonable desire to believe in fairly tales.

Now, for those of us poor saps who were born into it....well it took us awhile to develop the critical thinking skills which allowed us to finally leave. Hey, it's not easy breaking free of the indoctrination! I'm so sorry your wife suffered what she did...and yes, the psychological damage it does to them is unreal. If she could ever leave that cult, she might actually have a chance to start healing.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It was good to hear from you. I hope you'll let us know next time you're in Florida...we'd like to hook up again.

Thanks for all the words of support. Even though Doug's Dad pretty much shunned him for the last 3 years, he never withdrew his support totally. And they did get an opportunity to "make their peace". That's more than some people get. Thank you all.

That latest pic is of Kelly (?) I think that was her name. The hippy chick from the first one who is a river rafting guide. She came in as one of the last two players on the 1st survivor. I think she lost out to Richard just because of Susan...the loud mouth Truck driving biatch.
