Please help me with the forum

keeping a balance in what is allowed and what is not is very difficult and is more difficult if i have to take action against one person when i have let other things go by others.. it would help a lot if we could stop the personal attacks and some of the name calling & insults that are thrown about.

i know personalities do and will clash but please disagree about the subjects being discussed and not get personal!.

if you think someone is deliberately trying to cause arguments please do not respond to them as this is giving in to what they want.

By the way, I appreciate your posting Friday's email to you. Again, you are showing what an open minded person you are to expose this, which obviously made you question yourself a little, and ask for input.

Even tho I told you on your other thread that for the most part I am against any "shunning" of anyone...any rule has exceptions. If we view this forum as your "house" and we are all guests here...then you have the inalienable right AT ANY TIME to tell someone to leave your house.It doesn't even have to be entirely impartial(in someone else's opinion) you have that right. I am a pretty tolerant person, but if someone came into my house and say for example...slapped one of my kids...he'd be out the door in 1 second with a sore behind...and never to return. Would people say I was shunning that person? SO WHAT?
Anyway, the point is, delete whoever you want, as is your right. You have shown yourself to be so fair...that I for one would never question your decision.

i am bill's wife.he just called me from washington and told me to let you all know that erica won her case today!.

that sick child molesting bastard is in jail now as we speak.. his sentencing is set for september 24th i think.. one down many more to go.. thanks to all who have supported this cause.. sheila

Your lame attempts to justify your words here toward Dana are just that...lame. You obviously have a personal issue you would like to address with Dana. May I suggest you either do that in a personal email or IM, or even better, since you DON'T KNOW ALL THE FACTS in this case either...maybe mind your own business?

I thought you had gotten past your judgemantalism and borg mentality. Apparently you haven't. The purpose of this thread is about Erica, and the triumph of her trial, a pedophile being safely put behind bars so no more children will be harmed by him. This thread is not about Dana, and what you THINK you know. It's nice to see you think you are worthy to set yourself up in judgement over her as to what "mistakes" she may have made in her life that might cause her to have a guilty conscience. Gee, I'm so glad that you are in such a morally superior place in your life. Maybe before you go on making your sly little references and innuendos, you might want to realize that you don't know what the hell you're talking about. And let the rest of us continue to celebrate Erica's victory.

Welcome to this board! I am happy you and your children are enjoying life more now. Your evenings and weekends are free to be used for time with family, you CAN enjoy those holidays or special times with loved ones...yes the freedom is tremendous.

By the way, there is already a chat room on this board. In the upper left corner you will see it. We go in there all the time, and we have a blast! I will look for you in there.

hello, this is my first post to this board.

i'm a married 24 year old male, i've been married for 2 1/2 years.

my wife and i are in the process of trying to get out of the wts, presently we live on the east coast of the us, but are planning to move to the west coast in 6 months.

I am SO happy for you and your wife! It is especially sweet when a married couple comes to the decision mutually..because the other alternative is usually very difficult to live with.

I wish you the best of luck in your move. A fresh start sounds wonderful, and you are both young enough to truly enjoy it and take full advantage!

My Aunt Passed Away & I'd like to talk

on tuesday, my mom called me at work to tell me my aunt linda passed away.

she'd had diabetes and kidney problems for years.

tuesday, she was on dialysis and her blood pressure bottomed out and she just went to sleep and never woke up.

I can't add anything to what has already been said, just that you have my sympathies and support also. Doug and I have both discussed how we would deal with the situation when we get notification of one of our relatives dying. All of our relatives are JW's, and we don't know if they will bother to tell us beforehand either. There are so many strong, mixed emotions involved...it is hard to say what we will do when the time comes. Just know that we are thinking about you.

to make it easier for the out of towners (especially the ones driving in from the us), how does everyone feel about having our next get together on a saturday...say saturday, august 18th, starting at 4pm?

(i'll be working on the 11th and the 25th...).
