  rhodesboy, The lake of fire at that point, (after) not "at" the end of he 1000 year reign of Christ must have already obliterated A&E, Judas, some first century clergy to name a few. ; So, its not an exhaustive, complete list.

  BtG has already her feet toasted for good, Fire is also mentioned by peter for the earth and heavens that are now. So, just to make sure of their fate the FP and beast are mentioned specifically, because their total end was not directly dealt with before. --- Too bad we did not get in Rev. a comprhensive list of gehenna-bound individuals, because it would have stopped the endless vascillations about resurrection prospects of sodom and gomorrah citizens, hitler and his ilk etc.

  The Introduction of Sin (concept)?

  can you, awsome peoples, please help me with grasping when and how did sin get introduced in the picture?.

  i am not talking adam/eve and the serpent thingy.. i am going way back, following the chain of events.. seems to me that the very original sin was satan's rebellion against god.. if so, how did satan get this idea in a first place, how was he even able to have the concept of disobedience.... .

  I got it somewhere that the word-hence concept of sin comes from the root "sund" or "sound of" xyz (geography). so sin is a seperation, a braking away

  The existance of the tree of knowledge showed that it was an offered choice. "--murderer, father of the lie-original serpent" links A&E story to satan the spirit realm. Was there a heavenly equivalent to the TOK? but the continetal drift started with a hairline crack too.

  John 3:16 & Exercise Faith

  i was trying to find a wt publication that specifically addresses why john 3:16 is translated "exercise faith" in the nwt.

  i have searched the wt cdrom, but cannot find anything.

  can anyone please give me the wt references that address why john 3:16 is translated this way?.

  When you were a jw-new light & the doors?

  when you were a jw and lets say a topic at the door came up and you went into great detail explaining something only to have 'new light' come out shortly aftwards, did you feel any obligation to go back to the door and explain that you have a 'new understanding' or were in error?.

  today we know that there will be new light re: the fds being only the gb and not the anointed.

  its not the fleeting doors, its the bible stdies. our true story of timing: studied the brown "Let God be (almost) True" book; I mean bible with a baptist. topic: Superior Authorities.   since the wt this week has the prediction of a "peace and security" event, i thought i would include a comment from the new american commentary (nac, d. michael martin, pp.159-60) on 1 thessalonians 5:2, 3.. here is the wt's position, according to this week's wt study (sep 2012 study edition, pp.3 4):.

  1 th 5:2, 3 is a "future development.".

  it happens "just before that day of jehovah.".
