i just had my first "annual" visit since leaving over 3 years ago.
someone in my family told me elder so and so stopped to see me.
so i knew they were on my trail.
My parents DA two years ago, no visits yet and none expected. But because my parents are so friendly towards witnesses out in public there has been a local needs talk at the hall about them. So they know the elders really consider them serious apostates.
This almost sounds too funny. Well, I'd better be super nice to the them, too.
i had to df my brother a few days ago!
i just wanted to visit him and my family late december.
anyway, he said, "we don?t want you here!

Keep your chin up. You did a right thing. You are one step closer to get free from the cult. I've been in your position before. It's going to get better. Don't try to hang onto your soon-to-be-ex-friends. Get a lot of supports from here in this board and other friends and families who are not jws.

this was my project for last year, and it took much of the year to learn and play it, but it is "halloween appropriate.
" it is the danse macabre and was orginally written for orchestra only.
franz liszt did the piano reduction, and it is nearly impossible to play.

i feel that my education was stunted due to the jw belief that education is not important.
as a result i have not been able to follow my dreams, or follow the career i?m sure i was put on this earth to do.
does anyone else feel this way?
I finished my schooling even when I was a jw. But if there wasn't any discouragment or distractions (meetings, services and etc...), I think I could have gone farther with my carreer. I've been thinking lately that my 12 1/2 years were robbed. I felt I lost my precious time.

whenever you read the society's publications regarding "apostates" and those that simply leave the organization, you will see how the watchtower will try to make such ones horrible persons.
they are said to be "rotten, like gangrene, those going back to their vomit".
they are said to re-adopt all of babylon the great's terrible practices.
I would never go back to the Watchtower.

Oh they tried all sorts of things to get me to stay but I simply kept up the front. The CO asked why, I told him it was none of his damn business and I absolutely did not wish to discuss it and that I would unleash my lawyers on him if he persisted in bothering me. That shut his mouth so fast you'ld have thought I asked him for money.
