So does anyone know if he has taken any legal step? Like featuring his soon-to-be ex-wife on the America's Most Wanted? Or is there a Canadian version of that? I think she should be arrested for kidnapping and child endangerment. ):-(

I was born and grew up in Korea. I went back there to visit my relatives a couple of years ago.
Arghhhhhh!!!!!! It was July, and it was SO HOT!!! x-O After one week I was ready to come home - CA, U.S.A.
I love CA. I lived in Korea for 16 years, and I've been in CA for 17 years now. I think my idea of hometown has changed.
The SF Bay Area is my hometown now.
SS, I think it is a human nature that one wants to go back to his place of origin;maybe because of all the memories of past. But when I went back to mine, it wasn't the same. Now I've been converted to a different culture, I don't think I would want to go back. Maybe visiting once in a while will be o.k. For me I want to be where my family is. I live close to my parents. But one of my yournger brothers is living out of state. We are all hoping he would move back to the Bay Area soon.

JWs Are the Cleanest People on Earth
by comforter inone benefit that jws get from being jehovah's people is the knowledge of good hygiene.
before i came to be a witness, i did not think it was important to brush my teeth thoroughly or wash under my arms real good and use deodarant.
i also tended to be a pack rat with a messy car.

ha ha ha Roomie, good point!
I know a family that mom is reg. pioneer, dad is a MS, and their three children are either reg. pioneers or reg. aux. pioneers. Their house was so messy that every time their grandma ( who is not a JW ) came, she found herself slavering over cleaning the house, not to mention making food. I think it was last year. She finally told them that she would never visit them again. She told me that she was even getting sick due to her hard labor at their place.
JWs are the cleanest and the tidiest in the world? Not really unless you are retired or stay home without job. The WTS is putting too much on JWs already. If you have a job, you are barely getting dressed up for the meetings and door-to-door ministry.

I live in the SF Bay Area. A view of the bay makes me smile. Of course there are good friends, family, good students, and good music to make my life enriched.

Amway, Quixtar, etc. vs. WTS
by Larry inamway, quixtar, and other mult-level marketing schemes vs. wts.. if there is anything an ex-jw cult member would recognize, it would be another cult!
i say that b/c my uncle is an 'hardcore' quixstar member (ibo) and the more i talk to him the more similarities i see btw quixtar and the borg.
of course he doesn't see quixtar being cult-like but to some one on the outside looking in the organizations mirror each other.

I thought Amway was a cosmetic company. In 1997 my cousin and her friend visited here CA from Korea. They were using brand new Amway skincare products. It sounded like Mary Kay or maybe Avon as far as their marketing tactics.
Oh, there you go: another characteristic. They go international, too.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so evil!!!!!
I don't know how the Canadian law works, but I would report to the authority for kidnapping. Her mother shouldn't have done that.

is the WTBTS the False Prophet??
by 67mustang in.
i was wondering if anybody thinks the wtbts is possibly the "false prophet" of revelation???.
please comment.

The WTS made a prophecy that the Armageddon would come in 1917 - it didn't come.
Another prophecy: "The Armageddon will come in 1925" - it didn't come.
Another prophecy: "The Armageddon and the Christ's 1,000 year reign will begin in 1975" - I don't think so.
"All JWs are the modern day prophets of Jehovaha" - oh, well.
I found those infos in the Watchtower mags. of the late 60s. Even they themselves are saying that they are false prophets. No, I take it back. The WTS is making all JWs false prophets.

O.K., boys ( Bleep and Farkel ), that's enough! ;-)
Farkel, go and read other posts, and you, Bleep, get a copy of "Crisis of Conscience" and prove to us that Ray Franz is telling lies. Then, at least, I'll believe ya.
