  were I still in now I doubt if I would know what the basic tenets of jws are now..... what was in one year is out the following year....big like fashions....it just goes round in circles.....so glad I don't have to call on householders and insult their intelligence with jw spiritual arrogance.....utter twaddle.

  July 2013 WT Sunday ? Who is now the FDS ?

  continue on wt july 2013...a question to all...so, the congregation gets fed spiritual food by the fds (past & now), right?

  the great tribulation and beyond.. but the article says, the fds will not come until after the un will attack christendom, jehovah will cut short the attack on false religion; god's people will be saved, then...jesus will judge people of all nations as sheep or goats, then.....jesus will appoint the faithful slave over "all his belongings ....so, have the fds been appointed as of yet & if not who has been given the congregation the spiritual food upto now...i'm confused...no i'm not..i do understand...i think a bunch of guys been feeding us.... i spoke to one of the sisters & she said, that jesus will appoint the slaves & give them additional duties...uh ?

  the floor is open...will welcome all thoughts..... legacy.

  good point re apostasy.....would love to know what happens when one of the fds raises a new light....do the others throw him put for apostasy?....or do they conspire with him to spread apostasy???!!!!

  The old big orange "Paradise" book

  anyone remember that?

  i learned to read on that book.there were some very disturbing images,like the earth opening up and people falling into it.like upside down ladies and hippies.id love to get a hold of one and peruse it with a friend and some herbal medicine.maybe there is one in the attic?anyway,that and the image of the snake talking to the beautiful,bare shouldered eve,who was holding an apple,made a big impression on me.any else have any faves from that book?is it still being used?.

  book came out in 1958.......as a child of the 1960's it did scare me...picture of child on bike and road opening up.......yikes!.....

  were familiar with the statements about how a persons claim to be anointed is between that god and the individual.. the governing body went on to say: "a number of factorsincluding past religious beliefs or even mental or emotional imbalancemight cause some to assume mistakenly that they have the heavenly calling.

  we thus have no way of knowing the exact number of anointed ones on earth; nor do we need to know.

  the governing body does not keep a list of all partakers, for it does not maintain a global network of anointed ones.

  the whole thing is a web of corporate deception foisted on well meaning publishers etc....chopping and changing ideas and beliefs to suit/justify their own position. in the 30 years + I was in I have seen doctrines come and go. the generation fiasco and the are they or are they not the fds/annointed bluffing game have exposed the society as nothing more than men wandering in the dark...looking for new light switches..........!

  if the fds has not been officially approved by Jesus etc then everything they have been feeding has been speculation and of purely human origin.......so why have many been df for apstasy?....the emperor really does have no clothes......Raymond Franz hit the nail on the head when he exressed grave concerns over how they used scripture to support one doctrine then used the same scripture to support an opposite doctrine ....truly flipflopping.....

  the local needs talk this week was about helping with the building project in warick new york.

  the speaker said twice that project was for building the "world head quarters"!

  then he added twice; that the "great tribulation" cannot start to after the "world head quarters" is built!

  often available on ebay..uk and usa sites...I recently bought a clean nice copy for around £15 from the usa.....worth having as I find it more truthful and accurate than the doctrine contaminated insight volumes.....
