Hey Teacher, I appreciate the fact that you took the time and interest in your student to post here. As a ex-j.w., I grew up a witness, and I can tell you, I hated school because I was the outcast and the other kids *and teachers* made my life hell.
Please be kind to this child, he doesn't know any better.
Hopfully when he grows up he will leave this horrible cult.

Some of you may know that I had a disk in my neck replaced about 5 weeks ago. If you had the surgery, how long afterwards did you experience pain, or did you find instant relief? I've got the same pain that I had pryor to my surgery, in fact I feel worse than before!!! I start physical therapy on Tuesday, so I'm hoping that that will give me some relief. I've still got the burning in my arm, down my back shoulder blade and nerve pain in my fingers. It throbs like something is stabbing me up in under my finger nails in my hand. It hurts and I'm so tired of hurting. and of course I get no encouragement from my loving j.w. family!
Have any of you had anything simular to this? If so, how long did you start feeling like a human afterwards?
I'm sorry it's been awhile since I've been here. I really don't feel like I have the right to even post since I haven't posted in such a while. So if I get no replies, I'll understand.
I'm just really fustrated, I've broke down crying several times in fustration and CC thought maybe some of you guys might be able to give me some encouragment. Does it get better?
Down in the dumps, Tink

Welcome prgirl! You're right when you say, he will have to figure this out for himself. The j.w's are SO brainwashed, it's not even funny. You're also right about the shunning. It is SO WRONG. It's emotional blackmail. My j.w. family shun me also. My anger towards them has now changed into pity. The whole j.w. situation is so toxic. Stay clear!!! Sounds like you've got a good head on your shoulders! I wish the best for you and your friend and again, welcome.

Here's a good one for ya!
by Tinkerbell4125 inas most of you know, cc and i moved here, two hours away from my home town so we wouldn't have to run into j.w.
family.
i've been walking in the neighborhood, been trying to lose weight.

You're probably right Sassy. I hope she questions herself period.....not for my sake, but for her own.
I saw her in her front yard yesterday while I was walking. I simply didn't look her way. After her girls reaction to me, I feel it best if I just ignore the whole situation all together. I feel sorry for her, and anyone else that is still brain washed in that cult. So sad and her loss.

So true guys! I'm still the same person that she met months ago. When I saw her two daughters, I spoke, even though they didn't. Maybe they will at least question the fact that I'm not a bad person. *even though I don't love Jehover*

She knew you weren't a JW before.
You know crink, I thought the very same thing! What in the world was she thinking, hanging around a *worldly* person anyway!
I will be working at the same school that her non-j.w. husband will be at, I will make it a point to be as nice as I can be! I remember her girls speaking up once and saying *daddy's NEVER home* Now I see why! I don't see how they can be happy. My dad wasn't a j.w. and he and my mom were never really happy together. How could you be, ya know.
