JanH....thanks about the cruelest, sickest thing that I've ever seen! I can't imagine anyone doing something like that to a animal. It make's me think of what they are doing to the poor dog's in Afganasten, useing them as ginny pig's with poisonest gas, killing them. What ever impelled you to post such a thing! That was sick.

in my weekend rounds of posting my, "child molesters in your neighborhood" poster, i happened across a chuch yard sale.

i approached the lady at the table and asked if the church had a bulletin board.

when she told me they did i handed her a poster and said she may want to post this.

bill bowen has started an organized effort to help innocent vicitms and their families to recover from the abuse they suffered and the way the wts has handled their cases.

he has started a thread to see if anyone among us here at jw.com would like to help in those efforts.. someone, who we are all familiar with, has disrupted bill's request with equally insensitive remarks and intent as that of the recently deactivated fred hall and bleep.

he states that he has the right to post anywhere and say anything he wants, well, hopefully simon has a different answer!.

Something missing from Aug KM

i just read the aug km again on reborns post.

i noticed that they did not include what to do if they come upon a disfellowshipped or disassociated person who is stranded and in need of help.

this had been previously covered with this same material the last that i remember.

I totally agree with what was said about not expecting anything from your JW family. I think it's a shame that it has to be that way. I used to get really angry at them but now I look at them with pity, the lesser of two evils. It's tough having brothers and sisters that you love, and the only time you get to talk to them is during a family emergency or death, and even during those occasions it is very limited. When the crisis is over it's back to the shunning. Recently I was at a pagent and ran into one of my j.w. nieces and we were so happy to see each other. We haven't had contact with each other in several years. We were very close when she was a little girl. It's tough watching her grow up and not being part of her life. She just hugged me and I know she misses me as much as I miss her.

I bet'cha, once they finish going over the rest of the article next week, we'll begin to notice a more complete "dropping off" of all communications regardless of any family emergencies in the future.

Bickering - how sad

i have just come back from a great mini vacation (two days).

i had a whole lot of fun and enjoyed myself immensely.

it is so good to be out of the borg and not be troubled by borg-rules anymore and just do whatever i wanna do.

I can't even begin to thank-you for what you are doing for all those that have been abused by the WTS.

My husband and I are rebuilding our lives after being raised in the org. I'm now 42 and my husband is 47 and we dissasociated ourselves in 1999.

I can't begin to thank-you for speaking out and taking up for me and thousands of others who have been silent for too long. Now that you've made it possible for many of us to speak out, we are doing so. I will never be able to thank-you enough and........

I will never be silent again.
