we were invited to a conference to speak on sl issues and had a very productive weekend.
it appears many here are very aware of the abuse issue and want to get involved.
Bill, the WTS will soon realize that this is the longest 15 minutes that they have ever seen!!! =;o)

i am officially retiring my other two personas (mister biggs and mister 8iggs).
quick history: i chose biggs because i am a huge fan of ronald isley (and his brothers).
i initially added 8iggs because i went over my quota for posts one day.
Funchback, yes, freedom is sweet! Good for you, for taking a stand! I will not keep silent anymore either. Things have to change. I sent a email out to my ex-j.w. siblins and I've offended some. No one wants to rock the boat. As for as my family goes, I'm not going to bring it up to them again, but we all know where we stand. I'm not gonna beat a dead horse. But as far as everyone else, I can't not keep quiet, ya know.

for some time now, we have discussed and expressed our outrage and horror at child molestation.

its weird...i was feeling fine all day and then all of a sudden i just feel depressed.. i'm wondering if i made a mistake divorcing my wife.
i know i made a right decision leaving the wt, but just wonder if i should have stuck it out with her.
not that she wanted me or anything, thats the main reason why i left.

You hang in there my friend. This feeling will pass! Probably most of us here have been through a divorce. It sucks!!! Weather you wanted out or not, it still sucks! It will pass though, it's always good to get it out, vent, you can come here and vent anytime!!! Don't know what I'd do if I didn't have this place to come to sometimes!

after dinner with trotafox tonight i drove home through ft lauderdale on a1a.
i had forgotten how much i love this stretch of road.
just driving it with all the people out and the clubs on your left, live music, people dancing and having fun, and then 30 ft or so to your right is the great atlantic ocean.
Venice, I'm glad you're not going anywhere! Sure would miss ya!
And yes, I love the strip down A1A!!!!!!!!!!!! Many times I've sat at those restarants eating and drinking and loving the ocean air!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
should you be easygoing?
most people would probably feel that it is a compliment to be thought of as an easygoing person, one with a relaxed, placid, tolerant nature.
however, there is another side to easygoingness.
It's just more of their mind control bullshit. Nothing new!
