If the Watchtower Represents Jehovah, How Come They Don't Share In Public Forums Like St. Paul?

other apostles of the bible were not afraid to engage in religious discussions (peter in the temple court yard), paul before festus, king agrippa and bernice, paul before the emperors of rome and his religious consorts or experts.. .

i don't see the watchtower's scholars of fame engaging with the world's religions or metaphysical discussions, why?

if fundamental christians, catholic and anglican church apologist are not afraid to debate topics with scientist, how come the people who claim to be "jehovah's only" don't share in the "thought of public ideas"?

It was a shocker to me to find out how people from Christedom are not afraid to debate people like Sam Harris, the late Hitchens, Dawkins, etc... they actually defend Jesus and his resurrection, hell fire, God's existence, all the main doctrines that form Christianity.

Funny how I recall my father (an elder) debating for almost 2 hours his brother in-law (a Christian) he was proving how the 144,000 is literal. But when he was pressed to produce evidence at how is it possible that only JW's are part of the elite 144k, my dad went silent and ended the conversation. This was the beginning of my awakening!

That is the reason why the WT leaders do not debate, because it would cause many JW's to wake up to TTATT.

recently attended a sad.. bethel speaker was gushing about the wt's embrace of new technology, in the part of his talk warning about "apostate" web sites.. a loose summary of his comments:.

"and the brothers at headquarters have made it very safe for you to go to our website.

in fact, the brothers talked to the folks at google, and they made a special arrangement so that when you type in 'j w period' into the google search engine, it automatically shows you the jw.org website.

we had to go off grid for a time, time and half a time as we thought we had been outed.

fortunately it was a false alarm, but it was a stressful time.

i asked for my original diary thread to be deleted in case there could be anything on there to identlfy mrs smith and i. i am always very careful when posting, and am sure there was nothing on there, but felt it best to have it removed in order to be as cautious as a dove.

all the major cities are on the coast.

i grew up on the east coast of australia where the great dividing range, as its called, runs parallel to the coast, and limits the extension of cities like sydney and brisbane.

i have been reverse witnessing to a witness at work who i told about my witness wife.

i think he thinks he is well on his way to make me a study but i have asked him to provide evidence that the wbrts is what it claims to be by reference to how it was appointed and how the current gb came to inherit that authority.

but one issue we ahd was the position of jesus accordign to the wbts and he said that he sits in heaven at the right hand of jehovah planning the future.

The Apostle Paul was taught a Myth !! not the "Truth".

the exact chronology of paul's damascene experience cannot be firmly established, but certainly a number of years had passed since the death of jesus.

perhaps only three or four years, maybe more.

we do not have an accurate history of this time.. but, it is evident that by the time paul was converted a cult of jesus was flourishing within judaism, hence his opposition, as it seemed very subversive to his pharisee mind.. what was this cult built upon ?

I’ve always wondered before waking up to TTATT why God has never picked another apostle to the nations from our time. Why can’t he pick great minds and reveal his power and also give them miraculous powers such as Paul’s?

All we are left with, are some writings from antiquity and fascinating stories that violate all natural laws in order to captivate the readers. Thanks for sharing this info phizzy!
