New DVD review

i managed to catch the new dvd on youtube last night before the inevitable takedown.

as a film i felt it wasn't anywhere near as good as the prodigal movie, the story wasn't as dramatic, the characters much less interesting and developed and the direction weaker.

i found the prodigal relatively entertaining (all things considered) this one was just dull.. here are some of my random thoughts anyway [spoiler alert - ha!].

How do you embed videos into your posts?

i have tried copying the embed link from youtube and inserting in as html code in my messages.

it appears to be there in the preview box, but when i hit submit, it disappears!

what am i doing wrong?.

Jehovahs Witnesses, you can talk to apostates, there is a sound reason!

jeremiah simply rejected not only some major portions but even some major books of the bible as not being inspired of god!

(jeremiah 7:22; 8:8) yet he is read and widely revered.

if so, why cant you, jws, talk to the people who are called 'apostates' (because they found some of the teachings of jws unacceptable)?.

What stage are you in after leaving or waking up to TTATT?

i can honestly say that although still in, i have lost the fear of wts dooms day version and in all sincerity i don't care what others inside the cult think of me.

at first i was mad of being lied to, i was sad that paradise is not coming, and i felt fear of death.

i happy to report, that i am now at peace with my eventual mortality and i am enjoying every second i have while i am alive.. .

I can honestly say that although still in, I have lost the fear of WT’s dooms day version and in all sincerity I don't care what others inside the cult think of me. Thanks to the help of many people on this board I am mentally and emotionally detached from religious dogma and fairytales.

New Leaflet to give to JW about TTATT

hi to all my fellows "apostates" in all world... especially in e.u.a.

and uk.. as some of you already know, ex-jw in portugal created a leaflet especialy to send to jw in all the country (individualy or to congregations).

we must say that it was a sucess from the point of view of the impact originated.

i use to hate when people who made goodbye posts on message boards.

why would they think that just because you no longer post on a chevy truck forum or a los angeles lakers forum the world would crumble around those still left there.

this place is definitely different.
