20The Great Pumpkin, er, Memorial Caper
by LDH inwell kids, it is about that time.
i just saw my first post for this year's memorial.. so i thought i would let you all know my plans and see if anyone else is interested.. last year, just to be hypocritical, i partook of emblems at home.
this year, i plan to be front and center at my local kingdumb hall partaking.. i do plan to polish off all the wine in the glass, and perhaps munch a few crackers.. anybody else up for memorial misadventures?

Just Had My Elder Visit
by Undecided ini just got through talking to a couple of elders, they both had moved here from other places, one from fla and one from wis. i can't remember their names.
they said the society had instructed them to call on all inactive ones.. they were nice to me, but had the same old answers that i used to present.
i brought up a lot of things for them to think about, but their minds have been carefully programed so it didn't register.

I would like to dare someone to put up a giant "Happy New Year" banner on one of the Brooklyn Bethel bldgs.
New Year's eve is my youngest's birthday, so we'll be shuttling her and her friends to the movies, shopping, slumber party, etc. Then I'll be going to my boy's buddy's house to help chaparone their high school party.(I'll sneak in a few leftover fireworks)

Elder Jailed for Child Abuse
by MARTINLEYSHON ini was talking to an ex-elder whos father an elder for 30 years who also served as the congregations p/o and as the old congregations servant prior to the 1972 arrangement.. .
he stated that he does not believe in god any longer as his father whilst serving as the cong p/o had been molesting his 2 sisters and his 2 daughters.
this happened over a 25 year period.

He went on to say that all convicted abusers should be used as government guinea pigs for experimentation purposes. Why because they are worst than animals.
