  5. Saddam keeps his people poor and ignorant and teaches the children to hate westerners, while he lives in the lap of luxury at the expense of the Iraqi people.(can you say palaces?)

  6. Saddam has no reservations about creating environmental and biological hazards. How many Kuwaiti oil wells did he set a blaze? How many Kurds did he kill with poison?

  7. You think the U.S. is imperialistic? Now what was that about Saddam invading Kuwait, and having designs on Saudi Arabia?

  Sorry, I went over one. Hell, I didn't even need to get into the WMD thing.

  Need some info on Pistols

  i am thinking of getting a pistol and i am not sure of what kind to get.

  i went to an indoor range today and tried out a glock .45 (the smaller model) and a heavier .45. i found the glock rested well in my hand but i could shoot much more accurately with the heavier (and longer barreled) pistol.

  any way, i am looking for a home protection / target practice pistol and would like any input on what caliber to get.

  I had a 9mm S&W 915, but traded it for a .380 Sigma. Very easy to conceal and shoot. Not accurate, but hey, if someone breaks into your home, you'll probably be within a few feet of the perp anyway.

  just what is it that saddam hussein has done/is alleged to have done... to warrant a war by the us upon his country, and the most certain result of mass murder of innocent men, women and children, as a result?.

  now, i also ask you: please be careful in your response, as all i want are facts, versus emotional vengefulness... and such facts that say this is what he has done so that the us is rightfully entitled to war against iraq.

  to that end, then, i would also ask that you make sure your reply takes into account that the us itself has not done similar... or equal... anywhere else in the world... so as to warrant the same result on upon them.. i await your response... and i truthfully bid you peace.. sj, a slave of christ, who is still trying to understand the "thoughts"... of earthling man... though i serious doubt i will....

  Some of you peeps fail to realize just because the public wants or doesn't want something doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.

  Just because I want Saddam's ass kicked doesn't mean it's the right thing to do, and vice versa. The military and the leaders know more than I or any of you people on this forum, or the general population for that matter. It's their JOB. We elect them to do the JOB. It isn't always what we WANT.

  we remember things such as telling us how to dress, not celebrating holidays, paradise on earth etc.. but what about the deeper teachings?
