  it is not a new verse that starts anew, but a verse that ends the previous chapter, so what paul says to imitate is shown in the previous chapter.

  Become imitator of Paul as he too imitates Jesus Christ. The Watchtower will conveniently avoid all other ministry to market their selling point which is preaching based on figures that don't go beyond hours spent

  Does the Governing Body already know that Jehovah (the name) came from Babylon the Great?

  i'll start by stating the obvious... according to the watchtower, the catholic church is a huge part of babylon the great which is led by satan and his demons.

  raymundus martini, a catholic monk (who "represents" babylon the great to some extent), woke up one day in the 13th century and decided to alter yhwh so it can be easily pronounced.

  hence the spanish-ish version of yhwh was created... jehova... (sounds something like this in spanish: heh-o-va).

  It matters because most of what Jehovah’s witnesses hail to the high heaven as good and proper for worship originate from the same source they term demonic and devilish meant to be ruined based on Jehovah’s wrath 😂😂😂

  Me: You bet 100% brother Jerry an ordinary publisher will not wait behind. The question becomes how come those who wait behind like brother Jackson know he is expected to wait behind.

  Answer: Simple, brother Jackson knows the designation or title as it were is attached to his name that will be his reason for waiting behind.

Most elders work secularly to support themselves and their families. The Witnesses do not have a clergy class or clergy-laity distinction. The term is not used as a title or honorific.

  Clergy: a group ordained to perform pastoral or sacerdotal functions in a Christian church.

  Question: Who is an elder? Who is a clergy?

  Answer: they are those appointed or ordained to provide or perform pastoral care or functions in a Christian church or on congregation members.

  Then the below....

  "The term(elder) is not used as a title or honorific"

  Bro Tom has been appointed as an elder in dubtown congregation. The designation of bro Tom in dubtown congregation is that of ... ...... an elder.

  Meaning of designation.... to indicate and set apart for a specific purpose, office, or duty.

  Do they honor their elders? Are their repeated admonition to honor their elders?

  They don't have to call it honorific title but we know members are meant to honor them based on the designation and position that comes along with duty or post they occupy.

  Below is an example that shows that they do....
  

  • We honor Christian elders when we show respect for their position and follow their direction. We also honor them by commending them for their hard work. However, it would be wrong to give humans the type of honor that belongs only to Jehovah and Jesus

  wt 2021 october p.20 "in contrast, true worshippers of jehovah have no clergy.

  although we respect those who are taking the lead, we accept jesus’ clear teaching: “all of you are brothers.”".

  ijbq article 92 point 6: in contrast, true worshippers of jehovah have no clergy.

  Yes they do have a CLERGY CLASS here is one evidence as captured in their manuals

  Elders should be very careful not to divulge confidential matters.If an elder reveals the “confidential talk” of those in the congregation, he would lose their trust and ruin his reputation. (Prov.11:13)

  When a son and publisher in the congregation disclose a sin he committed in a confidential talk to his father who is also a publisher in the congregation. Do the organization allow such CONFIDENTIALITY?

  If no is the answer, can it be said Jehovah’s witnesses don't have a CLERGY CLASS? Is the keeping of confidential talk open to every member of the congregation or the clergy class aka elders, C. O, D. O e.t.c

  In reality it does not exist within the world of Jehovah's Witnesses

  Definitely one cannot be planning to leave the org and still think of marrying members or carry on with any relationship that is meant to lead to MARRIAGE. I feel for many who are presently stucked because of their marriage partner.

  note that though the wts says this, it then proceeds to add :.

  after jesus’ birth, why did joseph and mary remain in bethlehem instead of returning home to nazareth?.
