  cleaning advice??? anyone can respond........seriously.

  my mother's microwave oven has an unpleasant odor, tainting the food she heats.. about two weeks ago, she heated a cat toy (catnip), to refresh it.

  she did it for 2 minutes, not realizing that was wayyyyy too long.

  20 seconds maybe.

  michael moore mad a fool out of himself when he trashed the president.

  i loved it when the audience starting booing him.

  i'ts like these celebrities are cutting off their noses to despite their faces.

  All those award shows have become a big platform for their causes. Remember when Marlon Brando sent that woman to accept his Best Actor Award for The Godfather to bring to light the plight of some cause (think it was the American Indian???), and what a big controversy that was? Those actors are so into themselves and their causes, they don't know what reality is, because they have everything given to them on a silver platter.

  I love watching "The Sound of Music." It's definitely my favorite movie. I recently went to see "See Along Sound of Music" - which was wonderful booing the Nazis and hissing at the Baroness.

  I love watching "Shawshank Redemption" - I love seeing Tim Robbin's character get the best of Warden Norton - and Warden Norton getting it in the end. What a great movie.

  Get-together on Saturday night and study the Watchtower!

  do you remember those?

  did anyone actually enjoy doing that?

  some friends would say "hey, we're having a get together" and i would say sure we'll be there, then they'd say "oh, be sure and bring your watchtower!

  I always wondered why our little get togethers never included a Watchtower study. Maybe because in that group, almost all of us have left the Borg. Maybe that was a sign.

  My dating experience in the Watchtower has been incorporated into my JW romance short story on another thread...

  one of the 'problems' i had before blackguard deprogrammed me was i could not reconcile the actions of the j-dud masters with a loving god.

  i felt if god was with these people i did not want to live in any new system under this power structure.

  if god was as phoney, vengeful, and petty a person as his faithful and discreet slave was i was better off dead.

  Under pressure to attend the Memorial?

  is anyone else under pressure from family to attend the memorial?if so how are you handling it?

  in my family's case the truth might be too blunt and i dont' know how to soften the blow.

  any suggestions?

  Right after I left, I was bugged this time of year incessantly. Remarks like "we'd love to see you there..." were all in the offings. I haven't been bugged in a while, which is just fine with me!
