Time is real in as much as the speed of light is a constant factor. It travels at 186,000 miles a second. We know how far away other galaxies are by the number of light years their light has taken to reach us. That is still only a measurement.
Time does not exist per say but is a construct. Our perception of time as a humans is subjective. Our knowledge of time is objective. As for God - there are people on this board who claim he speaks to them. Why not ask them what He has to say?

I do but it's invisible and my tutor only talks to me telepathically.
with apologies to laverite.... growing up as a jw i always imagined the new system (tm) as being just like it's presented in the literature (tm).
i thought we'd all be hanging around with dorky looks on our faces, petting tigers and panda bears all day while we eat fruit and practice our dorky grins.. peronsally, i've never seen an illustration from the society showing modern conveniences.
the people in the illlustrations are always working in a garden somewhere (while wearing meeting clothes) or looking heavenward with a frontal lobotomy smile.. i think to be able to survive in this new world, i would need alcohol and lots of it.
This is the new system. Bars, cars loose women and every pleasure possible. Medical care when needed.
Stuff a new world - this world takes some beating - why return to the dark ages?
there are many "proof" texts that people (including jws) use to justify their rejection of anyone that is gay.
there are a few scriptures that you can pull up and try to make a case for show homosexuals why they are evil and wrong.. i've been researching more of these scriptures and i'm coming to some very different conclusions than many other christians hold, especially jws.
i wanted to talk about the first text used by many people to condemn homosexual behaviour.

ok.... looking for some logical explainations.... my daughter, ali, who i've been posting about on the forum...who has developed congestive heart failure.... has had some spooky experiences lately in her house.
here are a few of the things that happened:.
about a month ago, ali and her son david, heard noises from the attic above ali's bedroom...that sounded like something was being dragged across the attic floor.
There is a logical explanation for all phenomena.
Finding it is the challenge but each of us will be influenced by our beliefs, opinions and prejudice.

my wife and i had dinner with a pioneer couple last night that we've been friends with for a long time.
they are both nice people, with the wife having a few dashes of pretentiousness mixed in.. usually when we are together, they always talk about pioneering, which makes some sense as it's the primary focus of thier lives.
however, it has gotten progressively more dominate in conversation over the last couple of years, to the point of being annoying.
All it takes to get 70 hours a month on a report - is a pen that works!
i'm getting dirty looks at work again thanks to these adds....some of the girls look underage!

job refers to sins he didn't commit, he also refers t laws, elders, court.

Many years ago, when I was a zealous pioneer. Along with another pioneer we were conducting a bible study with an older man. I got him to find and read a scripture from Job.
I then asked him to 'keep his finger in Job' while we looked up another scripture. He started laughing and it took us green young men a moment to realize the ambiguity of what I had said. In the end we were all laughing. I have never looked at Job in the same way since.
i was thinking about that and the crazy confusion of generational rangling being handed over by the gb.. maybe jesus simply refered to fleshly humans as a whole generation knowing he would be the first fruits of a "new generation" of spiritual creatures.. the gb have tried to rework the generational mess but it doesn't improve the outcome.. it would make more sense if we considered that the great crowd (new generation) were in heaven instead of on earth.. again just kicking things around!.
