  Bin Laden - Do you think he's right after all?

  hey folks .

  im not trying to offend anybody , im just trying to find out what you guys really think about bin laden.

  of course there are the obvious things to count against him ;- the fact that he probably murdered thousands of people on september 11th , and maybe even before then.

  What a stupid animal BLaden is! His country is as immoral as any other, thing is he stones the immoral people in order to hide the fact that there are immoral, gay, lesbian, theives, liars in his religion or country. Oh please! Who gave him the right to decide what the USA should do.

  He is a dangerous dumbass. and even that is putting it politely. There are just as many people in the West that abide by the set of standards that he thinks he is privvy to, only thing is they are not terrorists like he is! TWIT.

  i've always wondered what jehovah witnesses think about a friend who is a non-jw.

  do they pretend to be good to you from the outside while thinking in their heads that you are "worldly" and that nothing good will come out of the non-jw?

  No they see them all as potential converts. Thats if they have any none-JW friends, most of us didnt.

  We used to have this saying, it might give you a better perspective of how they thingk...

  "Your worst enemy in "the truth" is better than your best friend in the world"

  They judge anyone as "wordly" even if they dont know them.

  A question for those in the UK...

  tonight i watched the movie about a boy with hugh grant.

  there was a scene where he was having christmas dinner with a bunch of friends and they were sitting around the table wearing paper crowns.

  my kids get a paper crown at school on their birthday but i suspect around first grade they won't be doing that anymore.

  What Makes You Enjoy Your Life?

  someone that i know well because of my business, suddenly died, while on vacation.

  i talked to his wife yesterday.

  she told me that her husband's view of life was that he wanted to enjoy life every day and that when he did die, he wanted to die in his favorite vacation spot, aruba.

  We spread cheese on our crackers.

  When you pull the cracker it bangs and snaps, one person will end up with just the paper bow and the other will end up with the whole gift, which will be a crown, a totally crap little toy and an even worse joke...then you put the whole thing in the bin, including the toy. Its all part of the fun, you can hear little bangs all over the place.

  Is it because of a JW background that you seldom have these things or is it simply not a USA thing to do? We never had them when we were JWs, though I secretly popped a few crackers when folks were not looking. Never wore the crown though.

  We wear santa hats too but even those are not as popular as the paper crowns. Anyone who celebrates Christmas has a paper crown, every home, restuarant and pub have these paper crowns. You find em in every nook and cranny. People walk the streets in them, gee this must look so parculiar to anyone visiting from the USA. Never gave it a thought before, just thought it was everyones custom.

  What do you get in your crackers then if not hats?

  Is this a British Christmas custom?

  Yep it is a custom. We get thos papers crowns free inside of the christmas crackers we pull, kids make them at school at christmas time, its not a birthday custom. Just a party hat really but I take it has something to do with a king being born on Christmas day? So I take it you dont get them in the USA? Interesting, never knew that.
