  Queen finally does something useful

  in the uk there has been a big trial going on in which the former butler to diana princess of wales was charged with stealing some of her possessions after her death.

  he has pleaded not guilty from the start.

  this has been going on for close to 2 years, the case dramatically collapsed this morning when the queen finally decided to get off the royal butt and intervene saying that she knew he was holding some of diana's possessions.

  I always thought that was something odd about this case,I think the best is yet to come,as there are a lot of questions to be asked over this.

  There again,I think the greatest Briton in my lifetime,I dont even know his name,but on a motorbike rally in 1978,he drank a yard of ale in 8 seconds flat,now that was an achievment..

  I must admit I didnt see the original post on this,but for me the greatest Briton has to be Isambard Kingdom Brunel,I have always thought that despite the TV programmes.

  i have been smoking off and on for over a year,,,,,,,never smoked before this year in my life.. it all started just for the hell of it.

  then as my hub and i started going out dancing and hitting the town, cig smoke was everywhere.

  i would comehome with it in my hair and all over my clothes.

  I gave up smoking for quite a few years,then I started again last year with some severe trauma in my life, worst thing I did,as I will have to try to stop again,the problem is I enjoy it but I know what it is doing to me.

  I was told,and I think its true,that once you have smoked,you never give up,you just refrain.

  Does that make sense.

  if you find that your house is built upon or near a cemetery, was once a church that was used for black masses, had previous inhabitants who went mad or committed suicide or died in some horrible fashion, or had inhabitants who performed satanic practices in your house move away immediately.

  it was beautiful.
