  Men: What's your favorite cologne?

  i don't see why we should allow such blatant discrimination on the board as to allow a thread "for women" only, asking their favorite men's cologne.

  so guys and blokes, so that we can participate, how's about declaring before these ladies your favorite cologne/after shave?

  i have been a bit out of touch with the news of late,but i just seen some footage of the huge fires in the states,i think awsome and terrible is the only way i can describe what i have just seen,the news said that a town of 30,000 is going to have to be evacuated,is this right?..

  is anybody that posts on this site affected,although my heart goes out to everybody that has lost homes and even life.. i dont know what else to say.

  How many Artists here? Which field of Art?

  i know i asked this absolutely yonks back, then by the name of celtic, but with so many newcomers here i thought no harm but to ask once again.. how many artists do we have here or working in art related fields including film, music, theatre, environment, gardening, sculpture, graphic design, illustration, fine art, photograpy etc etc?.

  I build model sailing ships,I dont know weather that counts.

  I suppose there has to be one to lower the tone of this,so it might as well be me,

  The other type of artistry I can be good at involves beer!.

  Noah's Flood & Other Bible Stories

  did anyone catch the east coast tlc (the learning channel) programs last night?

  the first one was about noah's flood.

  the program after that was about sodom & gammorah, the ancient apocalypse.. the programs were trying to establish that events have happened, and have been recorded, but the facts have been distorted within the structures of various existing societies inside the bounds of "religious dogma".

  There is another line of thought on the flood story,which is that it could be the melting of the ice at the end of the ice age,when the sea levels rose,a lot of land was submerged,just recently an ancient forest has been discovered off the coast of India.

  There is a scientist,whose name escapes me at the moment,that is looking for man made objects on the sea bed,and recons he has found some.

  I find this fasinating,any info I find I will post.

  im just wondering what kind of work people who post here do.

  i believe amazing is a mechanical engineer (like me), xena is an office manager and you know washes windows.

  and when youre not working, what does everyone do with their free time now that they dont have to knock on doors when the weekend rolls around.

  I am a truck driver,qualified for cranes(big ones)and hazardous chemicals,theres a lot more to it than just causing traffic jams.

  When I'm at play I love motorcycling,sailing,restoring ancient vehicles and I am in an environmentle trust.
