  Did you ever defend the Borg?

  i remember when i first started studying i was always so quick to defend the borg if anyone said anything negative about them.

  i didn't even have a reason to or had any business doing so because i was so new and didn't even really know anything about it.

  and i absolutley refused to believe that they could be involved in child molestation, even going as far as refusing to watch the news shows exposing the real truth.

  LABD has it right. Since Bush is a public figure, he can't sue...well he can, but he won't win. Wouldn't politics be funny to watch if politicians can sue for libel. One slimy campaign ad and whoopse! the whole thing becomes a law suit.

  "I didn't burn my medals, I burned my ribbons! I'm taking you to court."

  "I didn't skip out on my NG drills, I'm taking you to court!"

  All the campaign money would be spent on attornies, instead of mud slinging commercials...where it should be!

  well, they dumped food service at assemblies, us subscriptions to the watchtower, reduced hard bound book.

  If they cut anything, its the conventions. They could probably cut a 3 day convention to 2 2days assemblies. They'd probably get higher attendance, and more money. Hell, they could probably make 5 2days, and the flock will still go.

  Just because you can sue, doesn't mean you can win. If you sue and lose, you just wasted a lot of money. Bare minimum in CA is $198.00 to file a suit.
