my parents always says that demons are everywhere! It's getting quite annoying! For example:
They claims demons are in Smurfs? And they say that one time a Smurf walked in a KH, said "F*CK this SH*T" , and ran all over the stage! (How stupid do you have to be to beleive this actually happened)
Whenever there are arguments, or fights in the home they always say "Did you bring anything home from school?" or "have you been watching demonic shows" as to sugest that a toy brought a demon, who then possessd our family! It's like they'd rather blame a demon, than talk out issues or problems we have from time to time.
i feel bad for the demons, they probably get blamed for S*** they dont even do. :(
Yesterday someone was watching a show that involved a Phsycic medium, and my dad said "OMG! Turn it OFF! I DONT WANT DEMONS IN MY HOME!"
As if to say demons and satan are leaping out of the millions of tv screens around the world. What a busy life for a demon! sheesh
they are even ANTI-Yard sale, becuase there's demons lurking in that pair of used socks. YIKES!
Im getting really pissed off over this fascination with demons! I almost want to call one down to talk with one, to see what kind of stuff they actually do. hmpf!!
What do you think about all this? When you were my age, did your parents go all buck-wild over those pesky demons?

Amway
by enigma1863 ini was curious, how many jws end up getting caught up in pyramid scemes like amway.
i was caught up in there online program quixstar for a little while several years ago.
i noticed there are several similarities between amway and a cult..

omg, ive seen sooooo many JW's get sucked into these kinds of things! We all know that if you are a Jw, you have to be the most gullible human on the planet.
Poor 'sisters' selling Avon, Amway, Pampered Chef, Dishes, Cutlery, Makeup, Cosmetics, Monavie, Some wierd vitamin company.
They are pitched that its not a "job-job" you can "Work from home"and the sisters are thinking : "Work from home??! Wow! I can Pioneer, and I have lost of friends who I can have over to talk about my products!"Then they get other poor 'sisters' sucked in and its all a big mess.
Real sad

Bethel Tour anyone? Stay at any of these hotels. Pay with your credit card, but the Bethel Branch will get the "Reward Points" NOT YOU !!!
by Calebs Airplane inatlantis... you rock !!!.

by the way... notice how this boe warns elders not to share this "confidential" info with hotel personnel.... these guys are such scammers..

"EntirelyPossible" is telling the truth, im sure gets the points the companies spend.
SOMEONE I KNOW gets sent all around the world by the company he works for! he gets to rack up sky miles (free flights) and even free hotel stays, perks, and sometimes show tickets.
Sounds like the GB wants to fly first class to see Lady Gaga in concert! What a 'Blessing'

Thanks 00DAD
One thing that bothers me the most is how everyone acts and behaves in the ORG. There like zombies, its creepy.
They all sit their and nod their heads.
When I actually LISTEN to the talk, its always repetitive nonsense, the speakers basically say the same thing over and over, and use the SAME illustrations over and over.
"The Dented Cake Pan illustration RE: adam & Eve" is overused.
And i just get so bored. I told my mom once, "When are they going to use some new material?"
She said "How dare you?! Jehovah lovingly provides the food at the proper time" blah blah blah
I sit there and every talk ,, I kid you not... uses the same FIVE scriptures,
and we all have to turn to them, even though weve heard them MILLIONS of times.
Sorry to vent out like this, but I have noone else to talk to about my feelings. :(
more to come...

Aww thanks everyone! I will let all you know what the latest gossip from the Governing body and letters and etc., as I attened all the meetings. This religion is so funny, and the 'brothers and sisters' all sit their like zombies:
they use words like: "I appriciated this point...." or "I appriciated that..."
and Im like : "did you really appriciate that? or were you just trying to squeeze an answer in so you dont feel guilty for not commenting."
anyways Im so excited to finally join JW.NET and hope to make good friends and have some questions answered! :) thanks

When they played the child rendition at the District Convention for the first time, I was stunned.
I was shocked, it sounded creepy. Little children saying such manipulating words.
That was a big turning point for me.
