Got a angry letter from our oldest son today we are very hurt from it.
by TotallyADD inwhen i got home today from work my wife showed me a 5 page letter from our oldest son.
he basically said he does not what anything to do with us because of all the wrong things we did as parents to him and his brother.
he blames us for not being there for him and we are toxic parents.

As one parent to another our adult children strike out at us when they are hurting because we are always there for them and deep down they know it. Its unconditional love. I believe of all people they can vent feeling to it is the parents they always fall back on good and bad. Time heals.

At what age can a JW be baptised in the UK?
by jwfacts ini just received an email from an unbaptised publisher that made the following comment;.
in the uk the age of consent by law for a child is 16 and only then can they be baptized of their own free will.
is anyone aware of jws that have been baptised younger than 16 in the uk?.

I was baptized at the age of 14 (in US) I started regretting it at age 15 when I truly realized hormons and boys. This baptisim started me on the path of living a double life. I was too young to understand what the future held for me.

I have just published my first book. ( consequences to follow )
by sieborg ini stopped going to the meetings last september and told them that i didn't want to be badgered.
to be fair, they have not visited or called in nine months, apart from passing on their hello's to my wife and daughter who still attend.
anyhoo, i have had a fair amount of time to do pretty much what i have wanted over the past 9 months and so i have just finished my book.

by LoisLane looking for Superman inif you are on vacation and see a cute, pictureques, church and your fun and artistic side says, hey...let's go in...what's to be expected?
i would think that it would be ok to just slip in for a few minutes and slip out again.

My JW friends was so afraid of going into a church that we had an old church, just for show not used, at a pioneer Village but we were told we couldnt go inside. We did not go inside, I guess we thought it would start Armegeddon. I think our brothers were so straight laced we were afraid of being df'd immediately.
