  53 years ago we got married in a kh by a bro.

  about 20 years ago my wife and i, and two children left the cult , and have never been happier .. wifey was happy with the flowers i gave her and this evening we will go for a quiet dinner at a restuarant with a bottle or two of champers and if i`m lucky i may even get desserts , or not.. smiddy.

  31 years young tomorrow, B Day...four years of freedom from the towers...

  joined this website in july 2010 and havent looked back...so happy to be watchtower free!!!!

  (i was born feb 16th 1983).. i'll be 31 years old tomorrow and i feel indifferent about it.

  as usually my mom said your gonna be 31 but she didnt say happy birthday.

  Fifty Years Ago-The Beatles Enter My Life

  the beatles were on ed sullivan for the first time fifty years ago.

  it blows my mind.

  i gave them three months and i was a fan before they appeared.

  WOW Fifty years!!! I was 16, excited they were appearing on Ed Sullivan. The congregation was warning all of us young ones that they were from Satan, the end was very close because of their music. JWs have been proven WRONG. I was never to grow old in this system, but I have, but the Beatles Music hasn't lost its magic with me. I often listen to Beatles on Ipod at the beach. I still own Beatle Albums in 33 1/3 albums, tapes, cassets, and cd and on Ipods. Can't play all of them but each album brings me enjoyment from memories.

  So what are you up to?

  anyone else bored with religion versus atheism or is it just me?.

  i'm planning to go to greece in may.. i'm thinking about planting rocket and beetroot in my garden this year because they are getting rather expensive to buy.. this week i want to make chocolate refridgerator cakes.

  some for my daughter who is coming home from uni this weekend and some to take in to work to give away with free tea and coffee because it's national libraries day on saturday.. i just finished reading the humans by matt haig which was brilliant.

  Getting excited knowing the weather will be warm beach weather again soon. Summer life, book, lunch, and cold drink on the beach.

  My Dr. said recently that many suffering from anxiety end up in the ER thinking they are having a heart attack.

  .. .........................some people are truly in need..some are not... a man passing by on his 10 speed bike,asked me for $2.00 for a cup of coffee... .................................................."uhhh,no"... ............another asked me for spare change outside a super market... ......................................i said i didn`t have any... ...................so he say`s "how about a credit card?!"......lol!!...

  HANDLING CHEMOTHERAPY - Advice anyone?

  i have just been diagnosed with colorectal cancer (tuesday).. the consultant told me i am to get a scan to see how far it has spread.. i am going to have surgery to remove it, then chemotherapy with a break in the middle.. strange to say i am more terrified of dying under the anesthetic than anything.

  but i have a fear of nausea and vomiting, which chemo caused in all my relatives who have had it.. any advice for coping with this?.

  Reading exJW then JW facebook sites can make you go crazy!

  it's absolutely amazing what exactly the same event can do to the jw community and the exjw community.. the difference is that the jw community does not think and has the expected response... we think and, of course, have the exact opposite response as the jw's.. take for example the march km with the "will this be the last?

  I see the same reaction that I saw in the early 70s the JWs are so trained to expect the big A, they read KM, Watchtower, and study books for any little hint of a coming date.
